Faith RewardedWEEK 2 STUDS: Jeremy Maclin:  13 receptions, 171 receiving yards, 2 TDs. We advertised Maclin as a more complete receiver than DeSean Jackson. On Sunday night - he made that quite evident. Maclin carried much concern come draft day, but should repay those who overlooked the risk. Illness will not deprive you of talent. He’ll be a stud moving forward. Vincent Jackson: 10 receptions, 172 receiving yards, 2 TDs.  The Patriots completely shut down Antonio Gates and forced Malcom Floyd out of the game with an injury. Jackson picked up the slack posting stellar stats after a Week 1 flop. Opposing defenses will continue to have to pick their poison in terms of which Charger play-maker they attempt to stop. Miles Austin: 9 receptions, 143 receiving yards, 3 TDs. We've seen both Austin and Dez perform incredibly already this season. If this offense can ever get healthy, the sky is the limit. Mike Wallace has voiced that he is on a quest to reach 2,000 receiving yards in 2011. The young speedster has set the bar quite high for himself - but the third-year flier has good reason. He averaged 19.4 yards per catch in his rookie season, only to trump it in 2010 with a 21 YPC stat. He's topped 100 yards in seven out of his last ten regular season starts.  He's matured from simply a deep-threat, to an all-over-the-field talent. He does not attract the attention of the prototypical beast receivers, but don't underestimate 4.33 speed combined with a quarterback who loves to throw it deep. 2,000 is unrealistic, but 1,500 is no reach! Fantasy Football Brothers rolls out Part 2 of our Sleepers & Busts. A sleeper pick isn't always a guy that you have never heard of. Sometimes there are players that are getting drafted much later than when they should. It always comes back to value with us. The same goes for the busts. They are not necessarily going to bomb or have a completely awful season. These guys have expectations that do not line up with their actual production or they are being drafted way too high. Miami Sleeper Davone Bess - MIA - WR Bess has quietly produced back to back solid seasons for the Dolphins. He caught 79 balls last year and 76 in '09. This is part one of my two part installment of a Team by Team Sleepers & Busts.  I don't know about you, but I love to read everything I can on sleepers and busts.  It's often the first thing I flip to when I'm browsing through a fantasy magazine at CVS, and it's the first thing I'll scroll to when perusing a site. I love seeing who the "experts" dub as "sleepers and busts".  I get it.  Who doesn't want to be the first person to take a chance on a late round flier and have him pan out?  If you took Brandon Lloyd in the 16th round last season, you know what I'm talking about.  It's often these late round steals that can put your team over the top. With the quarterback, running back, and tight end positions appearing deeper than ever, landing an elite wide receiver is essential. There is a clear-cut Top 8, but then the questions start flying. If you find yourself quivering over selecting a questionable running back in the middle to late first round, a stud wide-out may be the way to go. With a youth movement at the quarterback position, and the tight end pool deepening - solid prospects are falling to the later rounds. Running back has become the easiest position in all of fantasy to fill. Stud pass-catchers are an endangered species. Be sure to draft one before they're extinct. 1) Andre Johnson - HOU - WR No surprises here. Johnson deserves the No. 1 spot. Owners may opt for Roddy White or Calvin Johnson with A.J. coming off of an injury riddled season, but Johnson combines the physical tools of Megatron, with the consistency of White. Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones have failed to provide Johnson with a legitimate wing-man, but the return of Owen Daniels and Houston’s ground game should diffuse defensive attention. We expect a clean bill of health and one of his most dominating seasons to date. If you find yourself hesitating over a running back in the mid to late slots in round 1, Johnson is a low-risk/high-reward pick. Week 17 Super Bowls pose many problems. There will be few rosters that  are at 100%. With some team's playoff paths already determined, certain studs may see the sidelines. Fear not, for there is always a silver lining. True, Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson may fail to produce, but the door is open for Jason Avant to see more snaps. Other intriguing names include Jerome Simpson, Andre Caldwell, Michael Crabtree, Danario Alexander, Blair White and Jason Hill. If Andre Johnson can't go, look for Jacoby Jones to step up once again. Reggie Wayne tops the list as Indy has been playing playoff games for weeks now. Expect Mario Manningham to produce with both Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks on the sidelines. Fantasy Football Brother's welcomes you to the end of the road. If you have made it here, congratulations, pat yourself on the back and tell everyone you know that you are in the championship game. Okay, skip that last part, because frankly, no one cares but you and us. The truth is if you made it this far, relish the feeling, because it's almost like the SuperBowl in that teams just don't go back regularly. Not everyone can be the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers, there has to be a doormat team every year. Vincent Jackson and Kenny Britt sky-rocket right into the Top-10. Owners will be rewarded for their patience. Brandon Marshall has disappointed all season. The Miami offense simply never got going.  He's coming off of one of his best games of the season and has a very favorable match-up vs. the Lions. Brandon Lloyd and Santana Moss did not struggle as expected with Tim Tebow and Rex Grossman playing the reliever roles. Santana should once again produce vs. the Jags. Lloyd has the talent and match-up to off set Tebow's lack of experience. He's still a risky play, but Houston should provide plenty of opportunities. With Steve Smith and Austin Collie's seasons being over, Mario Manningham and Pierre Garcon are in a position to put solid WR2 numbers. Wide Receiver value is being drastically effected by the injuries and inefficiencies at the quarterback position. With Matt Cassel in question, Dwayne Bowe becomes a shaky play  vs. the Rams. Without Cassel under-center, expect the Chiefs to grind it out on the ground. Kyle Orton looks to be a scratch vs. the Raiders. He's been the worst QB in football over the past two weeks. Brandon Lloyd, Eddie Royal and Jabar Gaffney remain risky starts. Tampa's secondary is vulnerable. If Shaun Hill is able to start, it'll bode well for Megatron. Wes Welker jumps into the Top-10 for the first time in months. He's adjusted well to the change in offensive scheme. Brady peppers around his targets, but Welker's production will remain consistent.
