With the wild card round in the rear view mirror, we can look forward to this weekends divisional match ups.  The tight end position is stacked at that top but thins out very quickly after the first four options.  We know what we're getting out of Dallas Clark.  He is the unquestioned top option for tight ends and a threat to post gaudy numbers every time he steps on the field.  He is the only guy in these ranks that I totally trust.  He's in a tier all by himself.  The second tier starts with Gates.  He is a safe and consistent option at a position that is as important as any other in fantasy football.  Rivers trusts him and looks his way often.  Shiancoe has emerged as one of Favre's favorite red zone target and also doubles as a safety net in the... read more

The Terrell Owens saga in Dallas is over! Last night the Dallas Cowboys released the all pro wide receiver. Owens has undeniable talent, but also has a reputation for being a loud mouth and a locker room cancer.  Over his twelve year career he has been able to divide three NFL locker rooms and single handily has destroyed team chemistry.  Jeff Garcia and Donovan F. If there were such a thing as the Ten Commandments of Fantasy Football, this would be near the top: "Thou Shall Know Your Leagues Scoring System!".  Let me stress to you how seriously important this is. Knowing  your leagues scoring system is like the "thou shall not kill" of fantasy football. True value of players can only be weighed when an in-depth assessment of the scoring format has been done. Once that has been established it is important to consult fantasy sources that advise in congruence with your scoring format.
