With the bye week on a bye this week, the quarterback position is as deep as it's been all year. Most leagues are hitting the home stretch and every game seems to matter a little more. Rodgers has been nothing short of amazing. His 129.1 quarterback rating is a testament to how special his season has been. Everyone knows he's going to throw and they simply can't stop him. He's that good. Rodgers is certain to lead several owners to fantasy glory this season. Cam Newton is clearly a special talent. I'm just amazed at how quickly he has adapted to the speed of the NFL game. At the beginning of the season I didn't think he would be able to grasp an NFL playbook this early in his career. Given the lock out and the rookie learning curve,... read more

Rodgers is hands down the top signal caller in fantasy football. He has a surplus of weapons and is on pace to break some pretty impressive records. Brees disappointed his owners in week 8, but I expect a nice bounce back performance againstTampa. He's the type of player that responds well after having a serving of humble pie. I have Eli ranked #3 this week, and I wanted to put him higher. The Patriots secondary has been horrible and the Giants passing offense is better than most think. Vick had a very good showing against the Cowboys on Sunday night. The Eagles offense could be extremely explosive in the second half of the season. Brady should have a solid day against the Giants. This game has the potential to be a shoot out. Matt Ryan has a very favorable match... read more

Brees didn't perform as expected in last weeks upset special. The match up was perfect and the Saints offense was rolling. It just drives home the fact that anything can happen any given week. I expect a nice bounce back performance for Brees against Tampa. Matt Ryan has a very favorable match up against a poor Colts defense. R.White and J.Jones should be healthy and ready to... read more

Every week another group of players emerge as potential saviors for your fantasy franchise. The Brotherhood weeds out all of the trash so that you can find the fantasy cash. This week we have some potential must own RB handcuffs that have emerged after more RBs were lost due to injury in week 8. Kansas City Chiefs Jon Baldwin - KAN - WR, vs. Miami Dolphins, Sun 1:00 PM Baldwin's career got off to a very rocky start after getting into a fist fight with a team mate during training camp. The rookie ended up missing the first 5 games of the season. Last night he was finally able to put on display his talent that had made him a first round pick in this year's draft. Baldwin dominated last night playing in the slot, wreaking havoc on... read more

Week 8 marks the half way point of the season. As expected we are starting to see significant separation between the quarterback tiers. It all depends on your scoring format, but the first tier quarterbacks are averaging roughly 10-15 more points per game than the second tier. We can expect this trend to continue going forward. Speaking of the first tier quarterbacks; Drew Brees should put on a clinic vs. the lowly Rams... Super Rookie Cam Newton will take some shots from Jared Allen and the rest of the Vikings pass rush, but they rank 29th against the pass. Expect Newton to have another solid all around outing... I'm never worried about Tom Brady and the Patriots offense, but a week off can sometimes disrupt an offenses rhythm. It will be important for Brady to have some early success to help him... read more

Brees went off Sunday night throwing for 325 yards and 5 TDs. What I found impressive was his 88% completion percentage. He might not throw 5 touch downs against the Rams, but we can expect a 30 point outing. Newton comes in at #2 this week. The Vikings pass rush will get to him, but they rank 29th against the pass. Expect another solid outing for the rookie. I really like Roethlisberger this week. My only concern is the Patriots are coming off a bye, and two weeks to prepare usually stacks the chips in Belichicks favor. Stafford is banged up and coming off his worst outing of the season. It's the first time he failed to reach the 200 yard mark. The Lions have a nice match up vs the Broncos, but I wonder how effective he... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's looks at the Week 7 Rankings for the Quarterback position. Like we said earlier the position is in a state of flux with all the new starter's across the league. While we think it's crazy that the Raider's are probably going to start Carson Palmer, let's remember that he is a better option than Kyle Boller for the Silver and Black. We also mentioned in First Look that Tim Tebow makes his much anticipated start for the Denver Broncos. I'm sure all of Florida and most of America will be tuning in to see how he does. It should be interesting. We here at FFB wish him the best! Remember it's bye weeks for the following quarterbacks, so if you have them, and you haven't adjusted your roster accordingly, please do so: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andy Dalton, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Michael... read more

(1ST LOOK is available only to Brotherhood All-Access Members.) Every Tuesday the Brotherhood takes a 1ST Look at this weeks upcoming ranks. Even though these ranks are not set in stone it is always good idea to start planning ahead. On Friday we will post our our final ranks for Week 7. The quarterback position is in a state of flux right now in the NFL. There hasn't been this much turnover since the days that Steve Slaton and Ahman Green were full time backs in the NFL. Carson Palmer out of retirement to the Raiders? Kyle Boller keeping his seat warm in the meantime? Christian Ponder in for the Vikings? John Beck in for the Redskins? Matt Moore sucking it up for the Dolphins? Tim Tebow in for the Broncos? We are secretly rooting for Tebow to succeed in the NFL...though I guess it's no secret since I... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's is rolling into Week 5 with our QB Ranks. If you haven't taken advantage of our services and your team is in the basement, "What are you waiting for?" If you are an owner who just gives their money to the league, maybe you would be better investing that in your kids' college fund or something else. Aaron Rodgers is our top signal caller this week as the Packer's take on the Atlanta Falcons in what should be an NFC Playoff Preview. Rodger's had an interesting week of Brett Favre calling him out, making comments like, "What took you so long to win a Super Bowl." Quick answer is you did Brett Favre. There are some QB's hurting as we enter Week 5, such as Michael Vick and Ben Roethlisberger, but they should be good to go. Although he is not hurt, Matt Schaub is... read more
