A top 200 ranking is an essential tool that every fantasy owner should use to help dominate their draft.  It helps owners gauge a players overall value instead of his positional value.  As usual, we went a little bit deeper and ranked the top 240 players.  We feel it was important to rank every player that could become relevant at some point during the season.  I left out defenses and kickers because my colleague Rob has already covered them extensively in his positional write ups.  We will continue to update these rankings as the season approaches. The Brotherhood has been hard at work with our draft kit roll out. Last week we ranked all of the RBs and this is our combined ranks. There was a ton of debate here as usual with fists being pounded on the table and lots of spirited discussion to put it mildly. We will be updating our positional ranks early and often as we head towards the start of the season.  And as a note to the reader, even though there are some injuries already, we are not going to move the players up and down the ranks due to a minor injury.  *Asterisks Are Next... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers has shifted gears to focus on the NFL Playoffs. Many fantasy owners are somewhat new to the Playoff Leagues, but it is something that is challenging and keeps the fantasy season going for those of you that missed out on a championship. As my colleague stated in an earlier post, "It let's me watch an NFL game knowing I have that player in my starting lineup." Championships are won and lost on the wire.  As the season winds down, the options begin to dwindle, but there are still play-makers available to fill voids in your roster. The Quarterback position has experienced the most injuries as of late. Losing your signal caller can be a devastating blow, but there are viable options still out there. Filling your WR3 or flex spot is often the hardest decision you face on a week to week basis. There are those players that are non-existent for the majority of the season, but then step up in the clutch. Our 1ST LOOK: segment is meant to give you the owner every possible chance to dominate your fantasy league. We take a look around the NFL, looking at matchups,injuries,weather to give you the most up to date information as we head into the Fantasy Playoffs. Speaking of playoffs I thought we could take a quick look at the hottest players from weeks 6-12. Fantasy scoring leaders are usually dominated by the QB position since the QB has the most touches in a game. We take a look at the Waiver wire today in what will be a very important one after 3 top ten running backs went down, and add in two more top 25 running backs and you have fantasy mayhem. Compounding the problem is that most leagues trade deadlines have already passed, leaving owners praying for a high waiver wire position and lazy owners ahead of them. Up this week in what is the last of the bye weeks, their are some Prime Grade matchups for the bigtime RB1's Adrian Peterson(DET),Michael Turner(CAR),Chris Johnson(BUF), and Ray Rice(CLE).
