Lynch Wins The F.F.B.'s First Annual Turkey Award For Bust Of The Year

Tuesdays at Fantasy Football Brothers means it 1ST LOOK time. This is a short week for the NFL, and us here at the Brotherhood with the Thanksgiving triple dose of football on Thursday. Due to the short week, we will not release a mailbag, and we will cut down our Ranks with full write ups. The good news is we will have a preview and projections for all of the Thursday games. We will continue to answer all of your Questions even on Thanksgiving, and Friday we will have our final ranks. and final projections all set to go so that we keep our readers on track to dominate their playoff runs. In the spirit of Thanksgiving this week I thought I would incorporate the biggest symbol of Thanksgiving the turkey into this weeks column... read more

Week 11 RB RANKS

Week 11's Number One Back.

Friday's at the Brotherhood means it is  only two days away from football. It also means it's rank time. For the first time since week three we have all 32 teams in action this week, and that means all fantasy teams are at full strength as we head into the stretch run towards the  playoffs. Fantasy owner's have enough on their plates to deal with as bye weeks, and lineup decisions during weeks 4-10 had owners begging, borrowing and stealing as they try to make their way through schedules missing key parts of their fantasy squads. The last few weeks have been particularly rough with the sudden injury bug claiming RB1s. Last Sunday we saw Ronnie Brown go down and is now out for the year. Michael Turner is likely out two or more games. Cedric Benson will probably miss one game. Brian... read more

MJD Currently Starring In Man On Fire

Every Monday & Tuesday Fantasy Football Brothers takes a 1ST Look around the NFL and the Fantasy football world. Today we get an early look at the week 11 running back ranks. Week 10 might be the week when fantasy owners will be able to go back and look at their fantasy schedule and be able to point out when their season started to go down in flames. Three top ten running backs were injured, and two more running back twos went down as well. While I could go on about the potential impact this could have on owners, I will save that for the Waivers report. Instead I will wax poetic  about how on fire Chris Johnson, Frank Gore, Michael Turner and Maurice Jones Drew have been in their last three games. Yes there are other backs that deserve... read more

Rice Has Run Wild All Season Long

Week 10 is already upon us and we have already had our first Thursday night football game, and that means the fantasy playoffs are right around the corner.  With most leagues trading deadlines either upcoming or already have past. The Brotherhood will do everything we can to get you prepped and ready to get you into your league's playoffs. As with every Friday our final positional ranks are ready to get you to the promised land. It's the last week of the bye weeks(thank god)and that means everyone's fantasy team will be running at full strength for the playoff run. The NFL has some great games this weekend starting in the NFC with the surging Cowboys against the slumping Packers. This game could and should have offensive fireworks and will be a big game fantasy playerwise. In the AFC there... read more

No One Has Been Able To Stop Chris Johnson On The Ground Or In The Air

On Tuesdays Fantasy Football Brothers takes a 1ST LOOK: at the early positional ranks, getting you the reader ready to dominate your league games. Up this week in what is the last of the bye weeks, their are some Prime Grade matchups for the bigtime RB1's Adrian Peterson(DET),Michael Turner(CAR),Chris Johnson(BUF), and Ray Rice(CLE). Johnson has simply been on fire rushing for 491 yards and four touchdowns in the last three games, while all four touchdowns have been scored in the last two. The Dolphins Dynamic Duo look to rebound after a two game mini-slump against those upstart Buccaneers in the battle for Florida. Yeah I just made the battle for Florida up. DeAngelo Williams has rushed for over 140+ yards in back to back games against what were supposed to be... read more

MJD continues to make his arguement for MVP.

Fantasy Football Brothers kicks off the weekend with Final Rank Fridays. Owners continue to deal with bye weeks, injuries, and the never ending formation of more RBBC's.  We have crossed the halfway point in most fantasy leagues, with league playoffs starting in five weeks. Roles should be become more defined, but the fact of the matter is most are not. In Detroit it was reported that Kevin Smith would be losing some touches only to be disputed by Head Coach Jim Schwartz later in the week. What does that mean to owners? It means wait and see and hope he isn't a liar. In Houston it appears Steve Slaton's case of fumblitis finally wore down the coaching staff forcing them to make a switch that paid off big time with Ryan Moats' offensive fireworks against the Bills. Yes, I... read more

Turner

Tuesdays here at Fantasy Football Brothers H.Q. we are knocking out our 1ST LOOK: Positional Ranks. Week 8 was the week unkind to the fantasy world, especially at the running back spot. We might have witnessed the birth of not one but possibly two Running Back By Committees. You know what fantasy football doesn't need? Another timeshare. This position has become so diluted between injuries and yes its thankfully the last week of the six team bye weeks, which have hamstrung  fantasy owners just that much more, and now more timeshares. The Top 25 looks more like an AFC or NFC only rank than the entire NFL. In Houston Steve Slaton likely lost a good percentage of carries until he can show that he once again can be trusted with the rock, but also... read more

Beanie Wells Finds Himself The Subject Of The Rant Of The Week

Fantasy Football Brothers kicks off the weekend with our Final Rank Fridays. As owners continue to deal with bye weeks, injuries, and the formation of more backfield time shares, I thought I would continue our look at next year. Today I will do a mock draft and rank my top 12 players for 2010. I will do 1-6 today and will finish my mock draft on Tuesday as part of my 1St LOOK: RB Ranks, so make sure to check back on Tuesday for part two. It's never too soon to start thinking about next year especially for keeper/dynasty league owners, or owners that are awarded high draft picks for finishing last though if you are reading our content, no one would be close to the bottom of their leagues. On to my mock draft, I will have standard scoring with a half point P.P.R. league with a starting lineup... read more

A.P. Has Been Leaps and Bounds Better Than Any Other Back In 09, Where Does He Rank For 2010?

Tuesday Fantasy Football Brothers takes a 1ST LOOK around the NFL where we provide instant analysis of what it all means to you in fantasy nation. We take our 1ST Look today at the Running Back spot. Week 8 is the halfway point for most fantasy seasons. So in the spirit of the halfway point I thought what better time to think about next year's running backs. Here is my Top Ten as things stand for 2010. 1. Adrian Peterson-Min- I mean how can you not take him first overall, unless someone else plays like gang busters in the second half to take over this spot. 2.  Maurice Jones-Drew- Jac- Though statistically under performing due to the Jags abandoning the run the mighty mite is well on pace to finish... read more

Every Monday and Tuesday Fantasy Football Brothers takes a 1ST LOOK around the NFL where we provide instant analysis of what it all means to you in fantasy nation. Yesterday it was first announced that WR Calvin Johnson was active only to be later disputed by ESPN's Adam Schefter that Megatron was actually out, scary staff for owners. Our 1ST LOOK at injuries that happened yesterday have some potential huge impact. Big names like A.P., and Boldin are always important to keep an eye one. There might be another lead back in New England this will be the third different starter in as many games. Fantasy Football Brothers is very excited to announce a huge change coming that we will release on November 1st. Be on the lookout. Let the hype begin. Have a sit/start, waiver wire, or trade question – Send it in. The Brotherhood answers ALL questions FREE of charge.... read more
