The Brotherhood has been hard at work with our draft kit roll out. Last week we ranked all of the RBs and this is our combined ranks. There was a ton of debate here as usual with fists being pounded on the table and lots of spirited discussion to put it mildly. We will be updating our positional ranks early and often as we head towards the start of the season.  And as a note to the reader, even though there are some injuries already, we are not going to move the players up and down the ranks due to a minor injury. We are keeping an eye on Knowshon Moreno and Pierre Thomas closely right now. The Broncos signing of LenDale White will eventually bump him down the ranks now that he has landed in Denver. Let us know what you think,... read more

Johnson Looks To Make History On Sunday

The Brotherhood wishes all of our readers a Happy New Year. Week 17 is by far the hardest of all of the weeks to assess. There are  a million things in play this week from injuries, to playoff berths, to resting for the playoffs. I have struggled all week trying to read between the lines in coaching speak, trying to figure out who will play, for how long, and how much playing time under what circumstances. The Cardinals position players will either have everything to play for, or nothing to play for by the time their game rolls around at 4 o'clock based on what happens in the Minnesota game. The Cardinals could be playing for a first round bye. The AFC playoff picture has a ton of team on the outside looking in, with all involved playing for a... read more

1ST LOOK:WEEK 17 INJURIES

Hmmm I Wonder How Many Fantasy Owners I Just Hurt By Pulling Peyton?

While most owners just finished their seasons with the hope that they won their leagues, there are still a  few that play a Week 17 Championship and today we take our 1ST Look at the injuries around the NFL. Fantasy Football is tough enough to figure out with injuries and running back by committees and all of the other aspects that make fantasy difficult as it is. Leagues that play in week 17 are ridiculously hard to win because of the amount of unknown playing situations that occur this time of year. Just ask any owner that owns any of the Colts skill players. (No I don't own any Colts)Their chances of winning were severely changed once Jim Caldwell made the decision to pull his starters early in the second half. I won't even... read more

Consensus Number One Pick Next Year?

At the Brotherhood we have been scrambling this week to get our final ranks out before the Brotherhood takes a Christmas break. We will stop answering questions from noon on Christmas Eve and will resume answering questions on December 26th. We will update the ranks and information through out the weekend to keep you completely up to date on all of the news that you can use. This week the Brotherhood was talking about how many people needed the once never imaginable combination of RB Quinton Ganther and TE Fred Davis to make their title game. As everyone knows by know that Ganther was able to get a one yard garbage touchdown after being pulled early in the blow out to the Giants. TE Fred Davis was held catchless in the first half making nervous owners all that... read more

Could Wells Have Finally Over Taken Hightower As The Starter?

Tuesdays are our 1ST LOOK at this weeks fantasy matchups. Now that all of our reader's playoffs are in full swing with the majority of leagues playing their semi-finals(or ESPN second first Round Matchup) while the rest of our reader's league playoffs are just beginning this weekend.   Here at the Brotherhood we roll on helping out you, the reader, to achieve that most coveted item, your league title. I said it last week and I'll say it again this week: Now is not the time to get crazy with matchups. Go with what got you to the playoffs, besides us of course. I mean your lineup. We received a ton of questions this week asking: "should I start Jerome Harrison over Frank Gore?" Or "Gore hasn't done anything in like, three weeks". I understand the panic,... read more

Rice Gets A Chance To Get Off The Ground Against The Lions Sunday

If you haven't noticed yet this week, we are in full blown playoff mode here at F.F.B. Head Quarters. While most of our readers playoff run began last night with another craptacular Thursday Night game between the Steelers and the Browns, we realize that there are also a bunch of our readers who's playoffs don't even start until next week. Due to the fact that our Free Questions and Answers volume has gone up a ridiculous amount as we head into the playoffs we have pared down the ranks and writeups. I am still amazed that a lot of our readers don't take advantage of our Answering service, since it's free. I don't know how many times in my life I wished I had someone to answer my roster questions and actually get a... read more

Jacobs Rewarded Owners Brave Enough To Start Him Sunday With His Best Outing Of The Year

Tuesdays here usually do mean 1ST LOOK: Ranks, but we are now in the playoffs. Congratulations to all of our readers that have made it into their post-seasons. All your hard work, studying, game watching and following the brotherhood have finally paid off. Now let's keep our eye on the prize and get you that title that you deserve. Matchups and over thinking are not what got you here, so now is not the time to freak out and start Jerome Harrison because you read somewhere this week that Harrison once had a puppy that was named Steeler which he got on Christmas so that means he will have a good game. Stick with what works and remember this. Stats can prove an argument both ways. ESPN was talking all... read more
