Hakeem Nicks returns from the bye healthy - just in time to punish a struggling Miami secondary. Nicks is good for 100 yards and a score. Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz are playing well enough to spread defensive attention. His counterparts may alternate big games, but Nicks will remain consistent. Eli Manning is a solid trade target. Nicks should have his way this Sunday. Mike Wallace lands the No. 1 spot in a very favorable match-up vs. the Patriots. New England has let up the most fantasy points to opposing receivers. Wallace will consistently hit he 100-yard mark, but his under-usage in the 2cnd halves of games this season is lowering his potential. Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown have matured well. If Hines Wards sits, look for Sanders to impress out of the slot. He's a sneaky play. Calvin... read more

Owners are patiently waiting for the league's best to return. With Optimus Prime (Andre Johnson) out with injury. Megatron has taken a firm grasp of the Top spot on this list. AJ is expected to return to practice today. Will he play? Where will he fall in the ranks? We'll see how the week goes. Be sure to tune in Friday for our final ranks and write ups. Marques Colston has exploded back onto the fantasy scene. After struggling through the first quarter of the season with injury, New Orleans' stud WR returns to play, giving the Saints the injection of big-play ability it was lacking. The ceiling for this offense is extremely high. With TE Jimmy Graham creating mismatches and drawing defensive attention - Colston should find himself in more favorable scenarios. He has top-10 potential moving forward. Larry Fitzgerald falls out of... read more

Week 7 WR Ranks

Pierre Garcon has thrived without Peyton Manning. His success is no fluke. He should continue to post solid stats moving forward. The Colts will need to put up points to keep up with Drew Brees and the Saints offense. Brandon Lloyd will find comfort reunited with his former offensive coordinator. Lloyd was the best WR in all of fantasy last season playing under Josh McDaniels. This deal will boost Lloyd's value and heighten his ceiling. His absence in Denver will allow Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas, and Eddie Royal to step up with Tim Tebow under center. Decker is more suited for the possession role. Thomas has flashed superior talent, but continues to miss extensive time with injury. Anquan Boldin exploded back into relevance last week. He'll continue to be labile, but he showed that he is still capable of being a solid fantasy factor. Torrey... read more

Everyone was urging owners to trade Dwayne Bowe the second Jamaal Charles went down with injury. Experts feared that opposing defenses would double and triple team Bowe without the threat of an explosive runner to keep safeties honest. They were right - teams have double teamed Bowe... The thing is - It hasn't mattered. Bowe has been responsible for some of the best highlights of the season. He continues to find a way to contribute despite being the focal point of opposing defensive coordinator's schemes. Given his supporting cast - his performance this season has been remarkable! Steve Breaston has finally flashed some indication of respite. Bowe will continue to have success in a rivalry game vs. Oakland. Calvin Johnson was held scoreless for the first time this season. Don't expect it to become a trend. Atlanta has no on capable of containing him. Miles Austin... read more

Greg Jennings should abuse the St. Louis secondary this week. Aaron Rodgers has been an equal opportunist - peppering his targets to each and every player on the roster, but when push comes to shove - Jennings is the clear WR1 for the Pack. A hundred receiving yards and a score is expected. Jordy Nelson and James Jones should put up WR3 stats. We do worry about target dilution. We've seen it happen before in New Orleans, but the Green Bay receiving corps is a superior unit. Jennings, Nelson, and Jones all have big-play ability. Jennings will be the weekly shoe-in with Nelson and Jones alternating big-games. Dez Bryant and Miles Austin have benefited greatly from the bye and should be close to full health. This is... read more

1st Look: Week 6 WR Ranks

Wide-outs become scarce as the player pool thins and the bye weeks begin. Owners who play in leagues that start 3 receivers will be hard pressed to find a lock at the wr3 spot. The Top-15 can be counted on, but after that you're looking at the next 30 or so prospects offering comparable value. Miles Austin returns from the bye and injury to instantly grab the 3-spot vs. the charitable Patriot's secondary. Brandon Marshall will struggle with Matt Moore under-center and a ticket punched for Revis Island. Greg Little and Victor Cruz make the biggest jumps this week. Little's role in the Brown's offense will continue to grow. He has a physical style of play and powerful after-the-catch ability. His playing time and targets have gradually increased - expect the production to follow. He's a perfect fit for Cleveland's West... read more

1st Look: Week 5 WR Ranks

Calvin Johnson is the first player in NFL history to open the year with 4 straight, 2 TD performances. Johnson is beating double and triple teams with ease. If the Lions can stay healthy - no one will compete for top WR honors. We strongly urged Julio Jones owners to show patience - the last two weeks he's exemplified why. Jones combines field-stretching speed, with physical possession skills. He's looked impressive and he's just getting started. Roddy White will continue to draw top corners, leaving Jones to work against opposing defense's inferior cover-men. Steve Smith continues to be an every week must start. We suggested him as a strong buy-low target after his monsoon flop. His down numbers were clearly a result of weather as opposed to talent. We placed Preston Parker in our Week 3 sneaky play section -... read more

Week 4: WR Ranks

Wes Welker: The guy is a reception machine, is the WR1 in arguably the most explosive offense in the league, has the greatest quarterback to ever play the game throwing to him(notice I didn't say "arguably"), and is finding the end-zone with apparent ease. He used to be simply considered a PPR-stud, but the guy is a producer regardless of scoring format. He does not carry the same sex-appeal as some of the prototypical wide-outs, but Welker is as consistent as they come! Where does he rank this week? At the 3 spot. The "Slot Machine" has earned a weekly top-10, if not top-5 rank. The Raiders will be no push over for the Patriots. With the ineffectiveness of Ochocinco and the injury to Aaron Hernandez - Welker will see an even greater number of targets. He's a weekly threat to post double-digit receptions, triple-digit... read more

We urged owners to keep the faith for Julio Jones and Lance Moore. Both deserved a little leeway - Moore missed extensive time due to injury and Jones was quickly oriented to the NFL with two difficult match-ups vs. the Bears and Eagles. Many of our members were asking about "buy-low" targets. Roddy White was atop that list. The Falcon offense is just getting started. White looked back in 2010 form last week, but did experience a couple of drops. A prime match-up vs. the Seahawks secondary should have both ATL receivers landing solid stat lines this Sunday. Kenny Britt's injury will force Nate Washington into the WR1 role in Tennessee. Washington is much more productive against inferior coverage functioning as the secondary receiver. He may see an increase in targets, but don't expect an overall bump in production. Damian Williams needs... read more

Sneaky Plays: Julio Jones: Jones has opened up his rookie season facing two stout defenses. The targets are there, it's just a matter of time before the production follows. Atlanta was forced to go retro last week and work the middle of the field with Tony Gonzalez as the Philly DBs locked down the perimeters. The Tampa secondary won't have the same success. Lance Moore: Moore was worked into a limited role as he acclimated to the field for the first time this season. Drew Brees has McGivered two stellar outings without his two top targets. As Moore slowly approaches full health, his production should increase. He should eventually prove to be more valuable than both Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem. Deep Sleeperzzzzz: Kevin Ogletree: Ogletree did... read more
