Rain, Snow or Shine! You can always count on Brady.

Brady was almost unstoppable in the snow against the Bears on Sunday.  He should be the clear cut favorite to win the MVP award this season. Rodgers going down with a concussion was an absolute killer for fantasy teams.  If you somehow managed to pull out a win despite his lack of production you should probably look in a different direction this week.  As of this moment he is doubtful to face the Patriots.  If you did survive Week 14 and are in need of a solid signal caller this week you should consider Jon Kitna and Jason Campbell.  Both players are at home and have favorable match ups.  Vick threw for 270 yards Sunday night against the Cowboys.  A whopping 210 of them went to DeSean Jackson.  Vicks agilityhas allowed him to remain in the pocket long enough to let his receivers get free and break... read more

Week 14: QB Ranks and Writeups(Fantasy Playoff Edition)

Peyton Manning proved yet again how important it is to have an elite signal caller leading your team.  After Thursday nights outing Peyton owner's have the luxury of heading into Sunday with a comfortable lead. Again, it's why we preach the importance of drafting or trading for a top quarterback.  We know we can rely on Vick, Brady, Rivers, Rodgers and Brees, but what about all the others?  After these five signal callers can we really trust anyone.  This week Kyle Orton and Joe Flacco make solid starts but that doesn't mean they don't come with question marks. How will the coaching change in Denver affect Orton and the offense? Can we expect more Knowshon Moreno? In Baltimore will Flacco continue to air it out against a bad Texans secondary? Or will the Ravens lean on Ray Rice... read more

Week 14: Player Projections

Posted by in Projections on Dec 8th 2010 and last modified on Dec 9th 2010. (Print This)

Fantasy Football Brother's rolls into the playoffs after a long season that was beyond crazy. We all need to take a quick breath to collect ourselves, then it's time to get back to work. This is where all your hard work as an owner pays off. This is why we play the game, whether for pride or for the love of money, it's what we do from here on out that matters. The one notable thing about doing the player projections is noticing how many player's in the NFL are hurt and of those players how many are fantasy stars. Fantasy owner's who have had their "studs" go down will have to rely on the waiver wire, which is why we are here. We have recommended player's throughout the season that have helped owner's get through injuries. It's what we do and we love... read more

1st Look: Week 14 QB Ranks

Look for Rodgers to bounce back in a big way against the Bills

The fantasy playoffs kick off this week!  Your playoffs hopes will most likely be tied to your signal callers performance over the next few weeks.  Yes you need a well balanced offense and three or four studs, but the fact remains, you'll only go as far as your quarterback will take you.  One sub par performance could very well sink your team along with your playoff hopes.  I know Eli Manning and Kyle Orton probably hurt a lot of teams last week.  They absolutely killed me in more than one league.  It's why I constantly preach the importance of having an elite signal caller.  If you own one of the top six quarterbacks in these rankings there is a very good chance you'll go deep into your playoffs and probably take home a title.  If you aren't fortunate enough to own one of the top six it doesn't... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's rolls into Week 13 and we present our player projections. There are many notable names missing due to injury and if you have Vincent Jackson or Frank Gore, you'll see they are not included in the projections this week. Which leads me to Jackson. How many owner's had him in their starting lineup after being patient with him all year? All season long he took up a roster spot, yet we stuck by him hoping to eventually cash in on the promise of having him back come fantasy playoffs. Now, his calf injury will set him back some and I have to wonder if he is really injured or if this is just a big F.U. to general manager A.J. Smith? Either way if you started Jackson last week, you came up disappointed, myself included. Frank Gore on the other hand was... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's heads into Week 12 and we hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. The slate of games was pretty decent and the best game of the night belonged to the Cowboys and Saints. It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys mail it in for the rest of the season or if they decide to play the role of spoiler. If you haven't taken advantage of our services now is the time as we head towards the fantasy playoffs. You don't want to sacrifice all of your league's riches because you didn't want to pay the price of a six pack at the store. Well some might, but for most of us it's what keeps the better half at bay for another year. The fact that you can show him/her that money can actually be made is priceless. Buy... read more

Week 5: Player Projections

Posted by in Projections on Oct 6th 2010 and last modified on Oct 7th 2010. (Print This)

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at the Week 5 Projections. It's do or die time across fantasy leagues and it could be time for many fantasy owner's to try and make a move to improve their teams. Andre Johnson owners are between a rock and a hard place because Johnson is a little nicked up and he hasn't been putting up his typical numbers. Fantasy owner's in the lower part of their league standings might need to wait to get full value for him. Other owner's will try to pounce and buy low on Johnson. With all that being said this is a critical time in the season, unless your team plays two games a week, but if you play in a one game per week league, it could be time to address some of your team's issues if you haven't done so on... read more

What a strange week for the quarterback position.  The only thing that looked normal was Peyton getting the better of his little brother Eli Sunday night. Vick might have played himself into a quarterback controversy.  Although the Eagles won't admit it, Vick could very well be this teams starting quarterback by week 5 if not sooner.  Jimmy Clausen will make his first NFL start against the Bengals.  Vince Young and Jason Campbell were both benched Sunday.  Mark Sanchez out performed Tom Brady and Kyle Orton looks like a top 12 quarterback.  Lets hope week three is a little friendlier to the quarterbacks. 1) Peyton Manning - IND - QB, at Denver Broncos, Sun 4:15 PM 2) Drew Brees - NOR - QB, vs. Atlanta Falcons, Sun 1:00 PM 3) Tom Brady - NEP - QB, vs. Buffalo Bills, Sun 1:00 PM 4) Matt Schaub - HOU -... read more

Week 2: Quarterback Rankings

Posted by in Quarterbacks,Ranks on Sep 16th 2010 and last modified on Sep 18th 2010. (Print This)

The headliner this week will take place Sunday night when the Manning' boys face off in Indianapolis. Both Peyton and Eli have gotten off to hot starts to begin the season. I fully expect them to keep it going in what's shaping up to be a high scoring affair. Peyton is the king of the quarterback mountain, but Eli has his sights set on the summit.  If the Giants can pull out a win in the "Manning Bowl", Peyton and the Colts would start 0-2 for the first time since 1998. Get your popcorn ready for this one. The other big story heading into week 2 is the return of Michael Vick. Vick took over for the injured Kevin Kolb and performed at a very high level. Along with the Packers Brandon Jackson, he... read more

Week 2: Player Projections

Fantasy Football Brother's is pleased to announce the new projection tool to our readers. Our IT Guy (Eric) decided that after the Ryan Grant injury (He owned him in several leagues) his fantasy season was done. We tried to tell him it wasn't, but there isn't a snowball's chance in hell he is getting Brandon Jackson off of waivers.  So, he came up with the projection tool and our reader's will be able to check out the weekly projections for their player's and how they stack up. The tool is used the same way as our Draft Tool, so those reader's familiar with how the Draft Tool works will already know the ins-and-0uts of the projection tool. Fantasy Football Brother's turns to our readers to help us name the thing. We have some ideas but none have really stuck. Please leave... read more
