Week ten is the odd week of the NFL schedule. All 32 NFL teams will be in action for the first time since week 4. Even though in week 11, the last four teams have their bye weeks. It is also the start of Thursday night football. The slate of Thursday night games other than the Thanksgiving games have been well... Not so great. It is a good thing since half of the country couldn't even watch those games because they are on the NFL network. I can tell you, that you didn't miss anything. Every Tuesday, we drop the earliest ranks in the industry. Only our Brotherhood All-Access Members get the early information.  Our ranks are heavily weighted due to so many injury concerns. There are a ton this week. RB Darren McFadden was injured in week 7, and the went into the bye week. There has been little information coming out of Oakland regarding his injury. If McFadden is ready to go, he will have a great matchup against the Broncos. RB Ryan Mathews left the game last night with an apparent groin injury. With Mike Tolbert already out, RB Curtis Brinkley was able to come in late and make some noise scoring a touchdown and a two point conversion. Tuesdays means the Brotherhood takes our early 1ST LOOK at all of the important fantasy skill positions. Here we take a look at the backs. Two more starting RBs went down on Sunday and their availability for week 7 doesn't look to great. Cowboys RB Felix Jones likely suffered a high ankle sprain which is never good for a back. In Detroit Jahvid Best had his bell rung. He has a long history of head injuries dating back to college, Best owners should be pretty concerned. With the bye weeks going the talent at RB is getting paper thin. RB LaGarrette Blount will likely be out again this week leaving Earnest Graham to carry the rock. Back To Back RBs? At the end of a long week we have just what you need to start the weekend off right. Positional ranks! We are entering week two of the NFL bye week season and the talent at RB is thinning out. We have been debating at the Brotherhood HQ whether we would draft our teams differently if we could. The answer is probably. Here is why.   It's official the RB position is impossible to figure out. Ok well not really but the hyperbole is a nice touch by me. If I asked you to name every RB that is in the top ten in rushing yards, how many could you name? Or if I told you that there are 23 RBs that have scored two or more rushing touchdowns this season but Arian Foster, Cedric Benson and Matt Forte are not on that list. Or that DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart have a total of one rushing touchdown between them. What's my point? There is a reason why we encourage owners to make sure that they hit at the RB position on draft night. Fantasy Football Brothers takes a 1ST LOOK at the RBs heading into week 4. There is growing concern around the quagmire that is the Panthers backfield and the Packers backfield as well. The Panthers backs are playing like second stringers instead of 1A and 1B. Owners are wise to take a wait and see approach. They are too valuable to cut and aren't worth nearly what they were heading into week 1. The Packers have gone from trying to get RB James Starks more involved to now saying they need to get Ryan Grant more involved. What to believe? They are entering the Patriots zone. When the season started, we knew there were only a few elite backs that would be available to draft. We also knew there were more than a few committees that would be strong enough to start as solid RB2/Flex plays. The RB position was deep if things played out as expected. Of course we know that nothing ever happens the way it is supposed to. Just ask RB Mark Ingram owners. Fast foward to the beginning of week 3. Fantasy nation was off to a tough start with an already injured RB Arian Foster, then down goes Steven Jackson after his second carry. Chris Johnson is rustier than the tin man. Every Tuesday the Brotherhood takes a 1ST LOOK at the upcoming weeks RB ranks. RB Jamaal Charles was lost for the year leaving a huge question for fantasy owners and the Chiefs. RB Thomas Jones is the obvious answer, but is he the long term answer? We think not. Look for a combination of Jones, Dexter McCluster and even a little Jackie Battle. Let's not forget about FB Le'Ron McClain who could even find himself in the carry equation at some point. The situation in K.C. screams stay away. They have the look of being a very bad team. Even though these ranks are not set in stone it is always good idea to start planning ahead.  On Friday we will post our our final ranks for Week 2. Week 1 showed us some shocking and disappointing moments.  We saw Steven Jackson break a big run and then leave the game never to return.
