Most of your leagues waiver wires are probably pretty thin at this point in the season.  Only major injuries to starters would catapult someone into fantasy relevance, and none of us want to see that happen.  However, there are a couple of players who could have a major impact just in time for your leagues playoffs.  Vincent Jackson is due back in week 12 and Sidney Rice could be available around the same time.  Both were considered top 12 wide outs heading into the season.  The difference in the two, is that Jackson is healthy and hungry, while Rice is trying to come back from hip surgery.  Jackson signed his tender and will be available after he serves his 3 game suspension.  That's just in time for the fantasy playoffs.  If your team is in good shape and your bound... read more

The Brotherhood takes a look at the Week 7 Projections. Hopefully everyone is taking advantage of the Eight Ball to make those hard to decide lineup questions, on top of asking the Brother's any questions you might have concerning fantasy football The injury bug has taken a bite out of fantasy rosters in Week 7 and this is where solid roster depth comes into play. We might have to rethink that whole depth doesn't win fantasy championships after this week. The defensive players have been hit hard by fines due to concussions and certain players such as the Steeler's James Harrison are said to be mulling retirement. While we don't buy into that, defensive guys have come out and said they won't change the way they play and will deal with the fines brought down by the NFL.  Fantasy Football Brother's is pleased to announce the new projection tool to our readers. Our IT Guy (Eric) decided that after the Ryan Grant injury (He owned him in several leagues) his fantasy season was done. We tried to tell him it wasn't, but there isn't a snowball's chance in hell he is getting Brandon Jackson off of waivers.  So, he came up with the projection tool and our reader's will be able to check out the weekly projections for their player's and how they stack up. The tool is used the same way as our Draft Tool, so those reader's familiar with how the Draft Tool works will already know the ins-and-0uts of the projection tool. With my last draft tonight, the summer season of fun is officially now coming to an end. The endless hours of phone conversations like a teenage girl talking about who you like better. Team Brees or team Rodgers? The endless debates about when to draft a WR. The hundreds of mock drafts semi-completed. The thousands of  trees that were cut down for all the print outs and magazines that you have read. And of course the million stink eyes received from the future ex-wife when the word football was whispered.  Ah tis the season. Until next spring when we do it again. A top 200 ranking is an essential tool that every fantasy owner should use to help dominate their draft.  It helps owners gauge a players overall value instead of his positional value.  As usual, we went a little bit deeper and ranked the top 240 players.  We feel it was important to rank every player that could become relevant at some point during the season.  I left out defenses and kickers because my colleague Rob has already covered them extensively in his positional write ups.  We will continue to update these rankings as the season approaches.
