The Brotherhood rolls into the Bye weeks as the fantasy season is flying right along. It feels like only last week, when we all were wondering if there would even be a season. This weeks write up will be much shorter due to on going festivities and preparation for a Fantasy Brother wedding. FB Paul ties the knot, gets hitched, attaches the ball and chain tomorrow and every other cliche available. I would like to congratulate Paul and wish him and his lovely bride all the love and happiness that they could ever want. Cleveland, Dallas, Miami,St. Louis,Washington and Baltimore are all on bye weeks. Which means the percentage of RB1s available just went down by at least 2o%. The good news is the early bye allows Peyton Hillis, Daniel Thomas and Steven Jackson... read more

Every Tuesday the Brotherhood unleashes our Members only 1ST LOOK: Ranks. Depending on your league scoring you saw a ton of scoring from your RBs. The Running Backs have taken a backseat so far early on in the season to high flying pass offenses. We finally saw the elite backs make some noise on the field instead of on the trainers table. Even though RB Frank Gore didn't get the start, owners that took the risk, were rewarded with his best game by far of the early season. It took a full month but RB Chris Johnson finally broke the century mark. RB Steven Jackson returned to lineups and put up decent numbers, playing his first full game of the season. RB Fred Jackson continues to stay hot after piling up 98 total yards... read more

Note to our readers come September 8th only subscribing members will be able to use our Q & A all football season long. Don’t get left out in the cold. Arian Foster’s hamstring injury is a concern but the bigger question is who should you draft as his backup. Derek Ward and second year back Ben Tate have been battling back and forth for the handcuff role. Ward might be the better back but the Texans have a bigger investment in Tate. The jury is still out on what type of season MJD will have since we haven’t had much time to evaluate him. On the positive side Jones-Drew played with the injured knee all season long and racked up over 1,600 yards in just 14 games. Yes his dynasty/keeper league value takes a hit but... read more

Note to our readers come September 8th only subscribing members will be able to use our Q & A all football season long. Don’t get left out in the cold. Fantasy Football Brothers is constantly updating our projections and ranks on an hour by hour basis. Just like the fraud weathermen that have ruined my weekend predicting hurricane/armageddon Irene in the Northeast. We hope all of our friends and readers in the south are alright and doing well. We take another look at the running back position this week. There are plenty of make or break events that will take place this week as we head into the last week of exhibition games. Arian Foster's hamstring injury is a concern but the bigger question is who should you draft as his backup. Derek Ward and second year back Ben Tate have been battling back... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers Free Draft Kit roll out continues today with our RB ranks and writeups. We have been constantly adding and removing players. We are constantly making changes to our ranks as things are literally minute to minute at the running back position. As you have heard us say before there is plenty of talent at RB. Yes the days of 3 down backs are disappearing. They are becoming endangered species. That doesn't mean there isn't plenty of talent available throughout the draft but the lack of quality starting backs are a little thinner than expected. There is a ton to read here so we will keep this intro short and sweet. Remember To Ask Us A Question. It's still free until the start of the season, then it's only available to our Brotherhood All-Access Members. [caption id="attachment_9035" align="alignleft" width="150" caption="Foster... read more

The free draft kit rolls on. In fantasy football, knowledge is power. So today Fantasy Football Brothers will drop a little knowledge on you. This is a handcuff chart, but this list also serves as an up to date depth chart as things stand right now. The NFL has only played one exhibition game so far, so rosters are still shaking out. Who ever you end up drafting you need to know who is next in line for carries. There are some teams that have clear cut backups, other teams have their depth chart constantly in flux. There are some teams that have backup players that are truly closer to being the 1B on the depth chart than a true handcuff. Guys like Jonathan Stewart, Mike Tolbert... read more

The NFL playoffs are always very hard to predict how each team will fare and then to use that formula of figuring out how the playoffs will unfold has a gigantic impact on these ranks. Last year we ranked Pierre Thomas the number one back for these ranks and people here even questioned the logic, but it turns out he was the best since the Saints made it to the Super Bowl. The key to drafting a successful Playoff team is to first figure out who you think we will win each game. Then look at those teams and decide which players are fantasy relevant. Every team with the exception of Seattle has a legit shot at making the Super Bowl. There is no dominant team that is playing heads above the rest of the other NFL teams with possibly... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's heads into Week 11 with our eye on the playoffs. This is make or break time for many fantasy teams across the country. If you haven't taken advantage of our services, what are you waiting for? We will answer all questions fantasy related and our Eight Ball Tool helps owner's with tough lineup choices. Week 11 means there are no more bye weeks. Which means two things, one, the projections are a daunting task, and two, NFL teams no longer have a chance to get fully healthy from here on out. This is where depth can win you a fantasy title. This is the reason why handcuffs are so important for your studs. Ask yourself, if Ahmad Bradshaw goes down, was I smart enough to grab Brandon Jacobs? or do I have another back that... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's heads into Week 10 and this is a tough bye week for many fantasy owner's as three elite quarterbacks are on byes this week. Fantasy owner's will be missing Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Philip Rivers this week. OUCH! That's not even mentioning the wideouts that go along with these quarterbacks such as Greg Jennings, Marques Colston, Lance Moore, any fill in the blank Charger wide receiver. DOUBLE OUCH! This week also marks the beginning of Thursday Night Football, which forces owner's to make tough decisions as to whether or not to start a player that is a little banged up. Roddy White owner's know what I'm talking about. The Player Projections for the Thursday Night Game are up in a different article. The Eight Ball will be updated after game time. This is the... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's continues our march towards the fantasy playoffs. The season is in full swing and we aren't any closer to having an answer who the top teams in the NFL are. Last week yielded no helpful hints, as the Dallas Cowboys continue their slide and aren't even worthy of being called America's team. Wade Phillips days are numbered as the Cowboys are getting flushed down the proverbial toilet of the NFC East. They were manhandled by the Jacksonville Jaguars and David Garrard in Week 8. The Detroit Lions showed that they are headed in the right direction as a franchise against the now embroiled Donovan McNabb who was yanked in favor of Rex Grossman to run the two minute drill because McNabb is out of shape. Mike Shanahan has brought this on himself and attracted unwanted attention by making a dumb... read more
