I am absolutely giddy about the next two weeks! This is the time of year that most leagues should be hosting there drafts. One of my favorite parts of any draft is taking fliers on players in the later rounds. There isn’t a better feeling than striking gold on a late round flier. This list was created as a tool to help you strike gold on draft day. You should print this out and slip into the middle of your draft kit. Pull it out and study it while doing your duty on the throne. Familiarize yourself with the names on this list. Some players ranked will simply be players who are being overvalued or undervalued on draft day. Some of the guys will be late round fliers who could prove to be the difference for your fantasy team. We do things a little different with our sleepers and busts.... read more

The importance of the quarterback position is becoming more and more relevant each year in fantasy football. With quarterbacks often out scoring every other position, owners are starting to take notice and build their teams around the quarterback position. We have moved away from the two back draft philosophy and have seen first hand how effective and lethal an elite quarterback can be. Come draft day I know I'm walking away with at least two above average QB's. The thought was that in a 10,12 or 14 team draft you could sit and wait for your QB. In theory it works, your basic economy lesson of supply and demand. You only start one quarterback and there are 32 NFL teams. So at the very least you could have two QB's from subpar teams. You then focus all your attention on stock piling running backs and wideouts, only to have your teams... read more

1) Drew Brees - NOR - QB 5069 yards and 34 touchdowns passes make Brees the #1 QB on my draft board. 2) Tom Brady - NEP - QB Call me crazy but I think Brady could throw another 45-50 touchdowns. Could be a stretch but I wouldn't bet against it. 3) Peyton Manning - IND - QB Call him Mr. Consistent. You can bank on 4000 yards and 30 touchdowns. 4) Kurt Warner - ARI - QB Warner has the best WR trio in football with Fitzgerald, Boldin and Breaston. If that's not enough the Cards used a first round pick on ultra talented running back Chris Wells. Only thing that scares me about Warner is his age. Can he hold up to the NFL grind at 38? 5) Philip Rivers - SDC - QB At 27, Rivers looks to be coming into his own. He tied Brees with 34 touchdown passes... read more

As we come to the end of May, we release our latest QB rankings. Questions abound around the NFL at the Quarterback spot. Who is going to start in Detroit, Oakland, Tampa, Cleveland, Jets, and Minnesota? My rankings were not very popular around the office this week, starting with where I have Brady ranked. But as I reminded my partners in crime, these are only the May rankings and I base my rankings on where I would draft each player Now, not come August. Let me know what you think about these rankings. Bill@fantasybrothers.com 1) Drew Brees - NOR - QB No one threw more times, or for more passing yards... Look for the trend to continue 2) Peyton Manning - IND - QB Mr. Consistent... Always good for 3,500+ yards 25+ Touchdowns 3) Kurt Warner - ARI - QB High powered dynamic pass offense... Question is what's going to happen with Anquan Boldin? 4) Philip... read more

The third year wide receiver theory is the closest thing to an exact science that states a wide receiver will break out their third year in the NFL. The point of this article is to tell you that it is B.S.! Anyone who spouts... read more
