Week 16 finds us deep in a whirlwind of football and holiday cheer. All the excitement going on is almost to much to take all at once. We should have asked Santa to postpone Christmas a week, just so we can focus on football. I'm opening my gifts and all I can think about is Jon Kitna! Will he play good enough to win me a title? I'm hopeful he will. And hopefully the rest of you have been good boys and girls and are playing for a fantasy title or two. The excitement and anticipation leading up to a championship game is almost as nerve racking as waiting at the top of your stairs on Christmas morning. Just sitting there waiting for the go ahead to run down and rip open your presents. It didn't matter if I had to run over my sisters,... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's welcomes you to the end of the road. If you have made it here, congratulations, pat yourself on the back and tell everyone you know that you are in the championship game. Okay, skip that last part, because frankly, no one cares but you and us. The truth is if you made it this far, relish the feeling, because it's almost like the SuperBowl in that teams just don't go back regularly. Not everyone can be the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers, there has to be a doormat team every year. Look at the Carolina Panthers, they went to a SuperBowl and I don't think they will be going back for a long, long time. The same can be said about the Seattle Seahawks, they once went to the big... read more

With each passing week fantasy nation continues to trek deeper and deeper into the playoffs. Some owners get lucky enough to advance while others fall victim to the cruel fate that only this game can provide. I know the Adrian Peterson decision absolutely destroyed fantasy teams across the nation last night. It's a gut wrenching feeling that can ruin an owners season in an instance. A wonderful dream season turned to crap just like that. How many A.P. owners yelled at their wives, girlfriends, kids or in some cases pets last night? They did nothing wrong but get in the path of a fantasy train wreck. And why didn't A.P. tweet something and let us know he wasn't going to play? Doesn't he play fantasy football? Wouldn't the $25,000 dollar fine he would have received for... read more

In our pre-season draft kit I wrote that nine out of ten fantasy teams will win a title with an elite quarterback leading their team. Take a look at the the final four teams left in your leagues playoffs. I bet that at least three of the four teams have either Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rivers, Vick and until last week Rodgers heading their teams. Remember this little tidbit of information when your drafting your teams next summer. Fantasy owners will most likely be without Aaron Rodgers this week. Rodgers suffered a concussion against the Lions on Sunday and is doubtful to face the Patriots Sunday night. We'll have official word Saturday, but it doesn't look good. Matt Flynn will most likely start in his place and should not be considered a fantasy option. I really thought Eli Manning was going to make the... read more

Week 14 has come and gone and for many of us it was an extreme disappointment. The fact that Jay Feely, a kicker, a kicker for Pete's sake outscored Aaron Rodgers and Adrian Peterson combined is a complete travesty. It was another weird chapter in the NFL Season, but in fantasy terms it stayed true to the story that has played out all year. What do I mean you ask? I mean if you had a lineup of Aaron Rodgers, Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, Greg Jennings, Brandon Lloyd, Jacob Tamme, Mason Crosby, and any defense, you probably lost out to a chump that had Jason Campbell, Tim Hightower, Ryan Torain, Santana Moss, Derrick Mason, Jason Witten, Jay Feely, and any defense. It was that type of week and it's one I would like to forget. Unfortunately, I can't. I can't stand the fact... read more

Peyton Manning proved yet again how important it is to have an elite signal caller leading your team. After Thursday nights outing Peyton owner's have the luxury of heading into Sunday with a comfortable lead. Again, it's why we preach the importance of drafting or trading for a top quarterback. We know we can rely on Vick, Brady, Rivers, Rodgers and Brees, but what about all the others? After these five signal callers can we really trust anyone. This week Kyle Orton and Joe Flacco make solid starts but that doesn't mean they don't come with question marks. How will the coaching change in Denver affect Orton and the offense? Can we expect more Knowshon Moreno? In Baltimore will Flacco continue to air it out against a bad Texans secondary? Or will the Ravens lean on Ray Rice... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's rolls into the playoffs after a long season that was beyond crazy. We all need to take a quick breath to collect ourselves, then it's time to get back to work. This is where all your hard work as an owner pays off. This is why we play the game, whether for pride or for the love of money, it's what we do from here on out that matters. The one notable thing about doing the player projections is noticing how many player's in the NFL are hurt and of those players how many are fantasy stars. Fantasy owner's who have had their "studs" go down will have to rely on the waiver wire, which is why we are here. We have recommended player's throughout the season that have helped owner's get through injuries. It's what we do and we love... read more

The fantasy playoffs kick off this week! Your playoffs hopes will most likely be tied to your signal callers performance over the next few weeks. Yes you need a well balanced offense and three or four studs, but the fact remains, you'll only go as far as your quarterback will take you. One sub par performance could very well sink your team along with your playoff hopes. I know Eli Manning and Kyle Orton probably hurt a lot of teams last week. They absolutely killed me in more than one league. It's why I constantly preach the importance of having an elite signal caller. If you own one of the top six quarterbacks in these rankings there is a very good chance you'll go deep into your playoffs and probably take home a title. If you aren't fortunate enough to own one of the top six it doesn't... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's rolls into Week 13 and we present our player projections. There are many notable names missing due to injury and if you have Vincent Jackson or Frank Gore, you'll see they are not included in the projections this week. Which leads me to Jackson. How many owner's had him in their starting lineup after being patient with him all year? All season long he took up a roster spot, yet we stuck by him hoping to eventually cash in on the promise of having him back come fantasy playoffs. Now, his calf injury will set him back some and I have to wonder if he is really injured or if this is just a big F.U. to general manager A.J. Smith? Either way if you started Jackson last week, you came up disappointed, myself included. Frank Gore on the other hand was... read more

Week 13 is upon us. In 99% of fantasy leagues week 13 symbolizes the final week before playoffs begin. If you haven't locked up a playoff spot yet and enter the week needing a win, you'll be sure to have a few sleepless nights. Just remember when your lying in bed steering up at your ceiling. The anticipation and sleepless nights are why we play and love the game. Would you rather be the owner who's out of the hunt, but sleeps like a baby? Me neither. If your still fighting for a playoff spot enjoy the moment. Don't over think roster moves this week. Now isn't the time to get cute. Start your studs and stick to whats worked all year. One poor decision can end your season and leave you kicking yourself until next year. That's a long time to have a pit in... read more
