Fantasy Football Brother's takes a peek at the quarterbacks for Week 4. The Patriots' Tom Brady continues to put up eye-popping numbers and there was a discussion around the round table today. It involved the question, "Is Tom Brady the best ever?" When you sit and watch Brady, are we watching the best NFL player ever? As you sit there with your kid watching the game, are you telling him/her that he is the greatest player or quarterback ever to play the game? We ultimately came to the decision that he is.... If you are a Philip Rivers owner is it time to panic? Why do I always seem to get him in a down year is the question we were asked by some. Rivers' owners' shouldn't panic, it could be worse, you could make a trade for Eli Manning and give... read more

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but the quarterback position is as deep as it's ever been. Legitimate fantasy starters are emerging from teams we thought wouldn't have a chance to produce them. Rex Grossman, Cam Newton and Ryan Fitzpatrick are putting up solid numbers despite going undrafted in most formats. Sure this could all change as soon as defenses catch up to the offenses and we see less blown coverages, but that hasn't happened yet. Teams are throwing more than ever, and that trend will continue. As long as it does most owners won't have to worry about finding a top notch fantasy signal caller. They'll simply pluck one from the waiver wire when the match up is right. It's the reason I wasn't sold on taking one in the first round. ... read more

Every Tuesday the Brotherhood drops our 1ST LOOK at the upcoming week. We put out a Brotherhood All-Access Members Only cheat sheet for this weeks ranks. We will let things develop as the week goes on and tighten up our ranks with our Final ranks on Friday. There are a ton of QBs that are and were considered elite before the start of the season that are under performing. Guys like Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Eli Manning and Josh Freemen have been downright awful. The reasons for their poor play vary from player to player but we expect bounce backs from all of the guys on the list. What goes down must come up. Tony Romo suffered a fractured rib and punctured lung his availability for week three is up in... read more

Week 1 was a wild one for the quarterback position. It proved to be as deep as advertised, with 14 throwing for more than 300 yards. We can expect the gaudy passing totals to continue in week 2 as well. The defenses are not up to speed with the offenses and it shows. I think we'll see this trend continue going forward. 1) Aaron Rodgers - GRE - QB 2) Tom Brady - NEP - QB 3) Michael Vick - PHI - QB 4) Drew Brees - NOR - QB 5) Philip Rivers - SDC - QB 6) Matthew Stafford - DET - QB 7) Tony Romo - DAL - QB 8) Matt Schaub - HOU - QB 9) Ben Roethlisberger - PIT - QB 10) Josh Freeman - TAM - QB 11) Rex Grossman - WAS - QB 12) Joe Flacco - BAL - QB 13) Jay Cutler - CHI - QB 14) Eli Manning - NYG -... read more

Week 1 was a wild one for the quarterback position. It proved to be as deep as advertised, with 14 throwing for more than 300 yards. Four threw for over 400 yards, including Chad Henne and rookie Cam Newton. Both players went undrafted in most formats, but a sure to come off of waivers this week. I'm looking forward to see what Newton will do for an encore against the Packers. As impressive as his debut was, I'm keeping him on my bench in week 2. Henne had no choice but to throw early and often against the Patriots. The Dolphins have no ground attack what so ever and will need to throw a lot this year. How bad was Miami's running game you ask? Henne led all Miami rushers with 59 yards. He should be added... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers rolls out Part 2 of our Sleepers & Busts. A sleeper pick isn't always a guy that you have never heard of. Sometimes there are players that are getting drafted much later than when they should. It always comes back to value with us. The same goes for the busts. They are not necessarily going to bomb or have a completely awful season. These guys have expectations that do not line up with their actual production or they are being drafted way too high. Miami Sleeper Davone Bess - MIA - WR Bess has quietly produced back to back solid seasons for the Dolphins. He caught 79 balls last year and 76 in '09. He's going in the 14th round (14.02) in 12 team leagues. That's great value for a solid WR3. Value Reggie Bush - MIA - RB I'm not a fan, in... read more

This is part one of my two part installment of a Team by Team Sleepers & Busts. I don't know about you, but I love to read everything I can on sleepers and busts. It's often the first thing I flip to when I'm browsing through a fantasy magazine at CVS, and it's the first thing I'll scroll to when perusing a site. I love seeing who the "experts" dub as "sleepers and busts". I get it. Who doesn't want to be the first person to take a chance on a late round flier and have him pan out? If you took Brandon Lloyd in the 16th round last season, you know what I'm talking about. It's often these late round steals that can put your team over the top. It's the reason why I go Team by Team trying to... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers begins our Free Draft Kit roll out. We know we have released our draft kit a little later than previous years and there is a reason for that. Due to the lockout and free agency frenzy we decided to wait and see how it all shook out. We know everyone's time is limited so why make our readers read a bunch of different versions of our draft kit and waste your time. Or do what we did and wait ten days after the dust has settled a little bit and give you the reader a much more informed look at fantasy nation. The NFL is a quarterback driven league. Over the years the game has evolved and transformed from a run heavy game to a pass heavy game. The NFL is also more passer friendly than ever... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's puts a wrap on the season as we release our Week 17 Quarterback Rankings. As we have said before, if you play in a league where the fantasy championships are determined in Week 17, it's time for a change. Take a look at the rankings and see the names of some of these quarterbacks that are starting, it's ugly. On top of that certain players slip in the rankings because they probably won't play the whole game (Tom Brady) in games that really mean nothing. Week 17: Quarterback Rankings 1) Aaron Rodgers - GRE - QB, vs. Chicago Bears, Sun 1:00 PM 2) Philip Rivers - SDC - QB, at Denver Broncos, Sun 4:15 PM 3) Peyton Manning - IND - QB, vs. Tennessee Titans, Sun 1:00 PM 4) Drew Brees - NOR - QB, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sun 1:00 PM 5) Matt Schaub - HOU - QB,... read more
