It's that time of year again. Tonight it is NFL Draft eve. Tomorrow the Brotherhood will be gathered around a few TV's and even more computers all to watch the best night on television. We will be taking it all in as stuff our faces on trays of buffalo wings and steak tips subs. I know I can look around the room and we will all have our silly little smiles and watch amateur athletes becoming professional athletes. Tomorrow the hopes of millions of NFL fans across the world will live and die with each pick. The draft this year has a ton of depth, in fact the most in a few years. Yes it is lacking in the QB department, but while there aren't a bunch of first round guys this year there are a ton of questions that need to... read more

Spring has finally arrived in the Northeast corridor after weeks and weeks of monsoons and flooding, the gorgeous weather this past weekend means it is time for the Brotherhood to wake up from it’s winter long hibernation. Spring means a lot of things to a lot of people and it is mostly associated with new beginnings. Like in the NFL where we are 17 days away from the NFL Draft. The Combine is over and we have seen the majority of the big name prospects pro day come and go already. (Still Waiting for Jimmy Clausen... read more

In case you haven't heard the NFL combine kicks off this week. All eyes will be tuned into the annual event that is quickly becoming must see t.v.. In fact the NFL has given out more than 620 media credentials and the NFL network has reportedly sent 21 employees to cover the event. Wow! That’s a lot of media personnel considering the players themselves won’t even be wearing pads. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of the combine and an even bigger fan of the NFL draft. I have watched every draft since I was 12 years old. I gush over forty times and love sitting down with the other Brotherhood writers evaluating players and breaking down game film. I know it does not matter what round these players get selected, the important part... read more

The 2010 NFL Draft is drawing near. The College Juniors have declared for the Draft and the slots are pretty much set. The NFL Draft is a crapshoot at best and many Mock Drafts are filled with tales of fantasies and not on a team's need. There are alot of "sexy" picks made by draft pundits and the flavor of the week this week happens to be Jimmy Clausen taking over the top spot in alot of Mock Drafts. While I see this as a possibility because the St. Louis Rams have a need at quarterback, why would it be Clausen and not Sam Bradford who could have gone as the number one quarterback last year? I do think the Rams will trade out of the top slot and gain value deeper in the draft where they will be able to take a quarterback and yet add another impact player who can... read more

The 2010 NFL Draft is right around the corner, well not really, but to diehard football fans' it is. There are some changes to the format for the draft and while I may not agree with it, I can see why the NFL is doing it. The NFL Draft has evolved into a huge event and has become a rite of passage in April. The format for the 75th NFL Draft is as follows: Thursday, April 22, 2010>7:30 p.m.--11:00 p.m.< Friday, April 23, 2010>6:30 p.m.--11:00 p.m.< Saturday, April 24, 2010>10:00 a.m.--6:00 p.m.< My hope is that the new plan backfires on the NFL and viewership suffers, then maybe they will move it back to the original format where friends can make a weekend out of it. Anyways, enough from me, let's get to the mock. This mock draft includes juniors who I think... read more
