Why wasn't Eric Mangini starting this guy all year?

Every Monday the Brotherhood takes a look around the NFL in search of players who could help you win a fantasy title. In this weeks installment of 1ST LOOK Waivers I listed players that are unowned in a percentage of fantasy leagues. Some of these guys have gained significant value and are sure to have a fantasy impact over the next few weeks. I know we love our studs, but more often than not it's an unknown who happens to bring home the title. If your reading this, there's a good chance you own Peyton Manning or any of the other Colt's skill players. They have provided us with 15 solid weeks of production, but are now in danger of resting for the playoffs. It's a tough pill to swallow if you made it this far only to lose... read more

Jennings could put up numbers with Kansas City and Oakland on the horizon.

Championships are won and lost on the wire. As the season presses on, players begin to wear down. Game after game the hits pile on leaving your stars prone to injury. Teams struggle to fill every starting position with the best possible play-maker. The silver lining to any injury is that someone gets to step up. With injury comes opportunity. Some of the backfields this season have been a game of ring-around the rosy. Muddled backfields lead to fantasy head aches, but if you can grab the prized pony before your competitors, you can provide your squad with much needed insurance. If you're really lucky you may even walk away with a starter.  As the season winds down, the talent pool begins to dry, but their are band-aids out there that can help patch up the wounds your line-up has suffered.  Every... read more

Harrison Rewarded Patient Owners On Sunday. If He's Back On The Wire, He May Be Worth Picking Back Up.

Championships are won and lost on the wire.  As the season winds down, the options begin to dwindle, but there are still play-makers available to fill voids in your roster. The Quarterback position has experienced the most injuries as of late. Losing your signal caller can be a devastating blow, but there are viable options still out there. Filling your WR3 or flex spot is often the hardest decision you face on a week to week basis. There are those players that are non-existent for the majority of the season, but then step up in the clutch. Consistency is hard to gauge, but the roll of the dice is what makes fantasy football so interesting. Waiver Intuition comes down to that prophetic-like urge that pulls you towards a player... read more

1ST LOOK: WAIVER WIRE

Rock On! Rock Cartwright Steps In And Produces For The Injury Plagued Redskins.

Was it Back to the Future this weekend in the NFL? Did Terrell Owens and Greg Jennings find Doc Brown and the Delorean and travel back in time? Wow! Not only an outdated movie reference but a T.O. sighting. Owens bounced back in a big way, but it wasn't before most owners had already dropped him. I don't think he should be penciled in as your WR2 but he should be added to your roster. He is almost worth considering as a weekly option. I'm curious to see what he'll do for an encore. Greg Jennings was considered a top 10 WR at the beginning of this year and he finally showed up in Week 11. I guess Jennings owners finally have something to be grateful for with it being the week of Thanksgiving and... read more

Snelling Will Probably Get His First Start Against The Giants

Every Monday & Tuesday Fantasy Football Brothers takes a 1ST Look around the NFL and the Fantasy football world. We take a look at the Waiver wire today in what will be a very important one after 3 top ten running backs went down, and add in two more top 25 running backs and you have fantasy mayhem. Compounding the problem is that most leagues trade deadlines have already passed, leaving owners praying for a high waiver wire position and lazy owners ahead of them. The most devastating injury might be Turner who had just begun to turn the corner and could be out from anywhere to 2-6 weeks though the Falcons have been quiet so far, the other devastating injury is to Ronnie Brown who has been all but ruled out for Thursday and by all... read more

Every Tuesday here at Fantasy Football Brothers we release our weekly waiver wire report.  We’ll list any player who could be available in your league that might be able to provide your team with potential value.  Some players will simply add depth to your roster and some could emerge as the hidden gem that takes your team to the top.  It’s my job to help you uncover that hidden gem.  The fun thing about being assigned waivers is that each week some shiny new player emerges to become fantasy relevant.  Last week Shonn Green, Chris Wells and Jamaal Charles sparked our interest.  This week it’s Ryan Moats from the Texans.  Moats burst on the scene seemingly out of nowhere.  The journeyman took over for Steve Slaton, who happens to be one of last years hidden waiver gems,... read more
