The fantasy playoffs are now in full swing. Week 14 was an abnormal week fantasy wise and wasn't kind to many owners. Last week we saw only 5 backs that ranked in the top 30 in scoring. There were only three out of the five backs that were ranked as a RB1. Ahmad Bradshaw was ranked as a RB2 and Tim Hightower was likely on no ones radar as he went off for 2 scores and ran for 140 plus yards. We all watched Aaron Rodgers go down in the first half, which also killed Greg Jennings which in turn also happened to kill one of my fantasy teams. So much for that title defense. My favorite part of this story is when the owner I was playing waited until 2:30 to trash talk me on the message... read more

For those of you that have been with us from the beginning, you know that our most important rule of thumb is "Always Start Your Studs". Owner's never need help with who to start when it's Adrian Peterson or Steven Jackson. The hard questions are players like Brandon Jacobs and/or Ahmad Bradshaw! Should you start LeGarrette Blount or Jonathan Stewart? Should you take a flier on James Starks this week against the Lions? So... For this week, the studs will get less attention and we will instead take a peek at the guys that can steal wins and trophies from other owners that are considered the favorites in your league. In one of my leagues I was absolutely asleep at the wheel and had an awful draft. But with smart matchup plays and using the waiver wire to my... read more

Week 13 is the last week of most fantasy football regular seasons. Owners are going over the thousand things that need to happen so that your team can squeeze into the playoffs. You are talking yourself into all sorts of crazy scenario's. I once said to a friend during the 4 p.m. games that if you are wishing for over time to happen so that your players can score more points (you all have been in this boat, including me, my favorite is the bargaining you start doing in your head. ) you are better off wishing to see a leprechaun at the end of the rainbow with a pot of gold, Either way good luck. The biggest thing owners are facing is the potential return of injured starters. Take a bow Pierre Thomas. Wave to the crowd, Jonathan Stewart, Put the spotlight on Ryan... read more

Every Friday we unleash our final ranks of the week. We add thoughts and insights to go along with any other concerns to help you the reader dominate your league. Every season we talk about the days when a Running back could tote the rock 300 times or more in a season. Since the 2007 season there have been 6 running backs or less that have had 300 or more carries. 2007 there were 6 RBs with 300+, 2008 5 RBs and 2009 6 RBs. What is my point you ask? As of right now there are ten backs that if things stay on course, could have 300 or more carries. Here are the projected carry totals for the aforementioned ten backs. Adrian Peterson 350, Chris Johnson 347, Steven Jackson 341, Frank Gore... read more

1ST LOOK Ranks are exclusively available only to our Brotherhood All-Access Members. (Editors Note: This Weeks 1ST LOOK: RB Ranks Are Available For Free To All Of Our Readers. Due To Thursday Night Football, We will have our Projections available for those teams on Wednesday.) On Thursdays be on the look out for our Brand new projection tool. We have named it the 8-ball for now. The month of November doesn't really start for me until the bye weeks are over and Thursday night football begins. Week 10 signifies the start of Thursday night football, which is great for fans, but extremely rough on fantasy owners. Owners are required to make decisions that they would usually get to wait and stew over until the end of the week, and then have to make a... read more

Every Friday the Brotherhood makes their final preparations to get our readers ready for this weekends slate of games. Check out our Free Projection Tool, just plug in your roster and your league scoring and you are good to go. Oh yeah it is Free. Injuries and bye weeks are always a concern to fantasy owners. This week we take a look at our mid-season vulture report. I love writing about touchdown vultures, not because it is a fun subject to write on but because I get to use a made up word. Vultured is not a word. Vultured would be the past tense of a vultured touchdown if it were an actual word. It can also be an action like the act of vulturing, which in fantasy lingo means... read more

Every Friday the Brotherhood drops their positional ranks with write ups. With the RBs we look at every game, match up and other factors before placing each player in their respective ranks. Our ranks move players each week according to all of our determining factors. It's way too easy to rank these players according to stats and much harder to do so when almost every team has been effected by the injury bug in some form. This week we have big risers to go along with some big drop offs. Plug of the week. Be sure to take advantage of our free Projection tool, so aptly named the 8-Ball (Not Magic). There are both Chiefs backs in the top 15 with a very advantageous situation against the Bills this week. The Bills are coming off a heart breaking loss, that they should have won. In Carolina... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers is proud to present our 8-Ball projection tool. Go ahead give it a whirl, and let us know what you think. After all it's free. We are at the mid-point of the fantasy season. Teams continue to put themselves into position to make their title run. It seem more than ever that big name players are dropping like flies. The Colts look like they are running a M.A.S.H. unit with all of their injuries, losing at least three players for extended periods of time. Injuries are always a huge part of fantasy football. They are also very important to monitor in fantasy football. As we enter the mid point of the fantasy season, fantasy playoffs are only 7 weeks... read more

It's Friday and that means it's rank time, but first it's plug time. That's alot of it's. As you might have seen we have been promoting our brand new 8-ball tool. (Click for instructions)Yes it's free and everyone should take it for a spin. Let us know what you think as we work out the kinks(report them if you find any). Please be patient with us as we get the tool running at an optimum level. It is our version of a projection tool. We haven’t come up with a name for it as of yet and obviously the name is still a work in progress. The 8 ball tool (Like I said everything including the name is a work in progress) will allow owners to plug in their fantasy teams rosters, adjust the scoring according to your specific league scoring. Then we... read more
