With the Wild Card weekend behind us we rock on to the Divisional playoff weekend. The weekend was filled with some painful games to watch if you are a Patriots,Bengals or Eagles fan. The best game of the weekend and of the entire season for that matter was the crazy game between the Packers and Cardinals. The game was a shootout from the beginning with the Packers overcoming a 17 point deficit and bringing the game into overtime with a fluke fumble returned by the Cardinals defense for a touchdown that ended the game. The game saw 96 total points scored 1,024 total yards between both teams and 9 total touchdowns thrown. This weekend the Cardinals head to the Superdome in New Orleans in a game that... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers has shifted gears to focus on the NFL Playoffs. Many fantasy owners are somewhat new to the Playoff Leagues, but it is something that is challenging and keeps the fantasy season going for those of you that missed out on a championship. As my colleague stated in an earlier post, "It let's me watch an NFL game knowing I have that player in my starting lineup." These ranking are in depth and they provide for the leagues that do select backups at their respected positions. Fantasy Football Brothers takes a look at the Running Back rankings for 2009 Playoff Leagues and these rankings are done by a last man standing type rules. This of course means the highest ranked players we believe will go the furthest in the NFL Playoffs. If you own Pierre Thomas... read more

The Brotherhood wishes all of our readers a Happy New Year. Week 17 is by far the hardest of all of the weeks to assess. There are a million things in play this week from injuries, to playoff berths, to resting for the playoffs. I have struggled all week trying to read between the lines in coaching speak, trying to figure out who will play, for how long, and how much playing time under what circumstances. The Cardinals position players will either have everything to play for, or nothing to play for by the time their game rolls around at 4 o'clock based on what happens in the Minnesota game. The Cardinals could be playing for a first round bye. The AFC playoff picture has a ton of team on the outside looking in, with all involved playing for a... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers goes into Week 16 with our ears pinned back and our hair on fire. This is the week we have been looking forward to the whole season. This is it, the big one, the one where you collect your title and reap the rewards as you bask in the glory of fantasy greatness. Week 16 offers alot of good matchups in the NFL as teams are scrambling to fill the last playoff spots. Some of the more notable games this week are the San Diego Chargers at Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins, New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles. One of the games flying under the radar this week is the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the New England Patriots in Foxboro. The Patriots have been offensively challenged their last four games and have... read more

At the Brotherhood we have been scrambling this week to get our final ranks out before the Brotherhood takes a Christmas break. We will stop answering questions from noon on Christmas Eve and will resume answering questions on December 26th. We will update the ranks and information through out the weekend to keep you completely up to date on all of the news that you can use. This week the Brotherhood was talking about how many people needed the once never imaginable combination of RB Quinton Ganther and TE Fred Davis to make their title game. As everyone knows by know that Ganther was able to get a one yard garbage touchdown after being pulled early in the blow out to the Giants. TE Fred Davis was held catchless in the first half making nervous owners all that... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers cruises into Week 15, so get on board, this is a big week for fantasy owners. This is the week that is do or die, no one wants to be left out of their leagues prize pool. In Week 15 there are many concerns with the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. Will they or won't they rest their players? It's the time that teams think about getting healthy for the playoffs, and for fantasy owners there is no worse time. One player we received alot of questions about was Joseph Addai of the Colts. In my opinion he is a "risky" play going into the Jacksonville game because he has a banged up knee. The Colts may choose to go with a tandem of Mike Hart and Chad Simpson, my advice would be to play it safe if you have other suitable starting... read more

Thursday night looks like a classic mismatch at first glance. Many NFL fans will instantly think the Colts win in a blowout. Looking further into the numbers, Fantasy Football Brothers thinks there is one team that is great at one thing and another that is pretty well balanced offensively. That doesn't mean they don't have certain deficiencies that can't be exploited though. The Indianapolis Colts come into this game with the number one passing offense in the NFL. It's no secret, Peyton Manning and his wide receivers of Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, and Austin Collie are special. That goes without even mentioning one of the leagues top pass catching tight ends in Dallas Clark. Sprinkle in Joseph Addai catching balls out of the backfield and they are nearly unstoppable. With that said, the Colts are ranked 28th in the league in rushing. They are... read more
