Fantasy Football Brother's offers up our final ranks for Week 11 Tight Ends. Rob Gronkowski of the Patriots remains in the top slot as he should have a field day against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. There was a great deal of movement at the tail end of the rankings as there were some injuries that shuffled guys up and down the ranks. The most serious injury being Jeremy Shockey of the Panthers who is doubtful with a rib injury. The teams on byes this week are the Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Houston Texans. Please adjust your roster accordingly. Here are the Week 11 Tight End Ranks: 1) Rob Gronkowski - NEP - TE, vs. Kansas City Chiefs, Mon 8:30 PM 2) Jason Witten - DAL - TE, at Washington Redskins, Sun 1:00 PM 3) Aaron Hernandez - NEP - TE, vs. Kansas City Chiefs,... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a final look at the Kickers and Defensive/Special Teams for Week 11. If you owned the Chicago Bears D/ST last week y0u were more than happy with the points they put up. If you were carrying two D/ST's and chose not to start the Bears, then you were probably kicking yourself. It's why you eliminate that situation and just carry one D/ST or K on your roster. Both positions are a crapshoot and again, it's why we preach you are losing value elsewhere on your roster when you are carrying more than one each. Here are the K Ranks for Week 11: 1) Dan Bailey - DAL - KI, at Washington Redskins, Sun 1:00 PM 2) Mason Crosby - GRE - KI, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sun 1:00 PM 3) Stephen Gostkowski - NEP - KI, vs. Kansas... read more

1st Look: Week 11 WR Ranks

As the NFL transitions more and more into a pass-first league, the number of statistically relevant WRs is increasing. WRs who play opposite known play-makers often benefit from drawing inferior pass-defenders in coverage. Some of the "Best Supporting Wide-Out" nominees include: Mario  Manningham, Jordy Nelson, and Antonio Brown. Manningham appeared to have fallen behind 2cnd year impressor Victor Cruz, only to find pay-dirt in three consecutive weeks. The Giant's talented trio will face-off vs. what was thought to be a solid Eagles secondary. The Patriots have the easiest schedule in the league moving forward. Wes Welker will cause Brandon Flowers fits this weekend. The Pats lack of running game is supplemented with dink and dunk passes to Welker. He could very easily finish as this year's top fantasy wide-out. The Carolina/Detroit game will be a sight to see. Calvin Johnson... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at the final TE Rankings for Week 10 in the NFL. The Thursday night games have started and FFB was disappointed as we had Antonio Gates as our number one ranked TE this week. We don't know what is wrong with that team, but the window of winning is rapidly closing in the AFC West for this disappointing Charger's squad. It makes us wonder, how in the hell does Norv Turner still have a job? We are also expecting a big week out of the Packers Jermichael Finley. The Pack take on the Minnesota Vikings in a Monday night clash. Finley has been a big disappointment so far, but we think he gets on track Monday night. Here are the TE Ranks for Week 10: 1) Antonio Gates - SDC - TE, vs. Oakland Raiders, Thu 8:20 PM Gates had a statline of... read more

Week 10 WR Ranks

DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin will make up for their poor performances vs. the Bears. The Cardinals will allow Michael Vick to work the edges. Philly has worked the middle of the field the past few weeks as opposing defenses have keyed in on shutting down Philly's burners on the outside. Zona lacks the corner talent to keep up with this dynamic duo. That being said, Maclin is the far superior and consistent talent. The return on investment on Jackson could be considered "bustable" given his ADP. Shady McCoy's and Mike Vick's success on the ground has made the Eagles more balanced than it has been in years.... Maybe they need to start throwing more? Steve Smith will push Calvin Johnson for the 1 spot. Cam Newton is the perfect fit in Carolina. His arm strength and accuracy were underrated. He's having the best quarterback rookie... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's looks at the Kickers and Defensive/Special Teams units for Week 10. This is a final rank for the week and there are no teams on byes this week. Remember that Thursday night football starts this week, so adjust your rosters accordingly. A friendly reminder to our readers: If you are carrying two kickers and two defenses on your squad, you are losing value down your roster. Why not take a chance on a player who could help you out at a postion you are thin at? Think Antonio Brown here. Here are the final ranks for Week 10: 1) David Akers - SFO - KI, vs. New York Giants, Sun 4:15 PM 2) Mason Crosby - GRE - KI, vs. Minnesota Vikings, Mon 8:30 PM 3) Nick Novak - SDC - KI, vs. Oakland Raiders, Thu 8:20 PM 4) Jason Hanson - DET - KI, at Chicago Bears, Sun 1:00 PM 5) Alex Henery -... read more

Every Friday the Brotherhood drops our updated positional ranks. We scour the net, tv and the newspapers for an information that we can use. We watch video and look for things that others are missing. We do this out of our love for football. Fantasy football. Our research (Here Comes My Segway) is what leads me to the story of the week. Looking back through our pre-season rankings I wanted to see when exactly Fred Jackson went from being ranked as a RB2 to a flex rank. It happend on the last week of the pre-season when the coaches in Buffalo were doing their all to let C.J. Spiller take the starting job. Spiller got the nod and didn't perform in his pre-season start. But the damage was already done. We (By we I... read more

Week 9 WR Ranks

Jeremy Maclin will continue to out-produce DeSean Jackson. As opposing defenses focus on shutting down Maclin and DeSean, Jason Avant  will continue to take advantage of the open mid-field. Mike Vick appears to have finally noticed how easily accessible Avant and TE Brent Celek are underneath. If Hakeem Nicks cannot play - we expect Mario Manningham and Victor Cruz to put up Top-10 stats. Manningham's production does not reveal how effective he's been over the past couple of weeks. Victor Cruz continues to show immaturity at times, but he makes up for it with big-play ability. Their names don't carry the same weight as some of the other wide-outs, but New England will allow them to look like superstars this Sunday. Jon Baldwin could be the best late season waiver wire wide-out claim. He has the size and speed combination to give opposing DBs... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's takes our final look at the tight end position for Week 9. There wasn't a whole lot of movement up and down the ranks, besides us still probably overvaluing Jermichael Finley. Jimmy Graham nabs the top spot, it's getting to be pretty common to see his name there now days and we are running out of Jimmy Graham pictures. Jason Witten gets the #2 slot and let's hope the Cowboy's offense looks sharper than it did last week vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. It can't get any worse, right? There was a Brent Celek (Brotherhood favorite) sighting last week, but the Brother's love the potential of Jake Ballard. While watching tape of Jake Ballard in the lab, Bill wondered if there was anyone who plays the game more stiff than Ballard. I retorted that he has a great set of hands and... read more
