Fantasy Football Brothers takes a look at the Kickers heading into the NFL Playoffs. Many fantasy owners are new to Playoff Leagues, but it keeps the fantasy season going for those of you that missed out on a championship. The Kickers from the top two favorites (Colts and Saints) going into the NFL Playoffs come with caution, notably the Colts with Adam Vinatieri and Matt Stover. Is Vinatieri healthy enough to kick and has he been away too long? Will the Colts switch back to Stover? Another question rests with the Saints as Garrett Hartley got a case of the shanks to end the season. Would they switch back to John Carney at some point in the Playoffs? These ranking are in depth and they provide for the leagues that do select backups at their respected positions.  Fantasy Football Brothers takes a look at the Kicker rankings for 2009 Playoff Leagues and... read more

Matt Prater is F.F.B.'s number one kicker in Week 17.

Week 17 and Fantasy Football Brothers has the kicking situation covered in your league. This is a tough week to gauge kickers because most teams will be resting their starters on offense, as well as defense. That doesn't mean there aren't points to take advantage of with your kickers, because there are some who have decent matchups, starting with Matt Prater of the Denver Broncos. Prater has been consistent throughout the year and now the Broncos get to take on the Chiefs and their leaky defense. The Broncos are playing for a Wild Card so we know nobody will be resting in this game, although Brandon Marshall will be a scratch for being a malcontent. What else is new? There are also some kickers who have battled back from injuries, notably Neil Rackers and Adam Vinatieri, though they... read more

Simply Electric!

Fantasy Football Brothers goes into Week 16 with our ears pinned back and our hair on fire. This is the week we have been looking forward to the whole season. This is it, the big one, the one where you collect your title and reap the rewards as you bask in the glory of fantasy greatness. Week 16 offers alot of good matchups in the NFL as teams are scrambling to fill the last playoff spots. Some of the more notable games this week are the San Diego Chargers at Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins, New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles. One of the games flying under the radar this week is the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the New England Patriots in Foxboro. The Patriots have been offensively challenged their last four games and have... read more

WEEK 16 K RANKS (HOLIDAY EDITION)

Week 16 and it's the final round for most fantasy owners. Points are much needed and kickers are a great way to get those much needed points. Stephen Gostkowski of the New England Patriots is Fantasy Football Brothers top rated kicker going into Week 16. This was the presence of many factors, the main one being the Patriots offense is sort of in a funk right now and there red zone package is predictable at best. Which leaves Gostkowski to boom them in and put points on the board. Have a sit/start, or waiver wire question? – Send it in. The Brotherhood answers ALL questions FREE of charge. Welcome to Week 15, the second round of the playoffs in most leagues. Getting a kicker with a good matchup can be invaluable to your team, the problem being kickers are about as reliable and predictable as the stock market. David Akers of the Eagles is this week's number one kicker. Have a sit/start, or waiver wire question? – Send it in. The Brotherhood answers ALL questions FREE of charge. Worth the Risk?

Fantasy Football Brothers cruises into Week 15, so get on board, this is a big week for fantasy owners. This is the week that is do or die, no one wants to be left out of their leagues prize pool. In Week 15 there are many concerns with the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. Will they or won't they rest their players? It's the time that teams think about getting healthy for the playoffs, and for fantasy owners there is no worse time. One player we received alot of questions about was Joseph Addai of the Colts. In my opinion he is a "risky" play going into the Jacksonville game because he has a banged up knee. The Colts may choose to go with a tandem of Mike Hart and Chad Simpson, my advice would be to play it safe if you have other suitable starting... read more

The Colts will look to remain perfect.

Thursday night looks like a classic mismatch at first glance. Many NFL fans will instantly think the Colts win in a blowout. Looking further into the numbers, Fantasy Football Brothers thinks there is one team that is great at one thing and another that is pretty well balanced offensively. That doesn't mean they don't have certain deficiencies that can't be exploited though. The Indianapolis Colts come into this game with the number one passing offense in the NFL. It's no secret, Peyton Manning and his wide receivers of Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, and Austin Collie are special. That goes without even mentioning one of the leagues top pass catching tight ends in Dallas Clark. Sprinkle in Joseph Addai catching balls out of the backfield and they are nearly unstoppable. With that said, the Colts are ranked 28th in the league in rushing. They are... read more

Week 14's top fantasy kicker.

Fantasy Football Brothers welcomes you to the Week 14 Kicker Rankings. If you are looking at this it is because you are in your league's playoffs and as an owner you are trying to answer as many questions about your lineup as possible. There were alot of owners who got burned last week by John Carney being replaced with Garrett Hartley and not replacing him in their lineup. There are other replacement kickers to be aware of as we head into the playoffs. In Atlanta, Jason Elam has been booted and replaced with Matt Bryant. In Washington after missing a critical field goal against the Saints, Shaun Suisham was cut before he stepped out of his post-game shower and replaced with Graham Gano. Have a sit/start, or waiver wire question? – Send it in. The Brotherhood answers ALL questions FREE of charge. Be sure... read more

Moats is relevant again in Week 14.

Fantasy Football Brothers welcomes you to the playoffs. It's Week 14 and all the hard work you have done to get to this point is finally here. You as fantasy owners have guided your team through injuries, suspensions, and owning any player on the Oakland Raiders. Now it is time for all that hard work to pay off. There are some big games in Week 14 and some of the more notable matchups include Denver at Indianapolis, Cincinnati at Minnesota,  San Diego at Dallas, and Philadelphia at the New York Giants. All the games this time of year are must wins for teams looking to make that final playoff push or secure home field advantage in the playoffs. As fantasy owners we have to be cautious at this point in the season to back ourselves up in case teams that have... read more

Don't get cute, play your studs in Week 13.

Fantasy Football Brothers rolls towards the playoffs and into Week 13 we go as it is a vital week for most teams. This is either a "do or die" week for your team or you are sitting back already claiming your spot in the playoffs. If your fantasy team is out of it, it's a great chance to play "spoiler" for those teams on the outside looking in. Which brings me to another topic and that is the subject of COLLUSION. We have received alot of questions from commissioner's about this topic and what to do with owner's guilty of collusion. It's a tough subject and you put your commish in a tough spot, so if you like him or her, please don't do it. It's not fair to the other owners in your league, afterall what if... read more
