Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at Week 15 Defense/Special Teams Rankings. It pains me, but at the top of the rankings this week is a team that has been brilliant for the last five weeks. If not the decade, thanks Mo Lewis. I can only think of one person that might have a problem with this ranking. The name and identity of said person will be protected as to avoid further persecution. The facts are that this guy is a huge Patriots fan and on a regular basis disagrees with my rankings when I have their defense rated high. This can only mean one thing..... The Patriots are a solid play this week and they top my ranks against a Packers team that will sorely miss quarterback Aaron Rodgers. I expect the Packers lack of a ground game will... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's heads into the playoffs where everyone wants to be and those that aren't there will tell you that their team should be there. Blah, Blah, Blah....we know the story. The owner might then show you something he computed or twisted that supports his theory. You have better things to do, you're in the playoffs, now is the time to focus and try to find every angle possible to net every point possible. If you were good enough to get a bye week, congratulations, as they are more valuable than immunity on Survivor and just as valuable as taking a can of mace when going to a club with Ben Roethlisberger for all our female subscribers. Needless to say, team defense is a great way to get ahead of the game come playoff time. These are extra points for your... read more

Fantasy Football takes a look at the Team Defense Rankings for Week 13. There have been many surprises in this crazy NFL season, but one constant is that solid defensive teams rise to the top, and usually at home. This week's number one ranked squad is the Green Bay Packers who take on the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field. It will be interesting to see how the 49ers react to the loss of Frank Gore and that is why we have the Packers ranked on top. We think the 49ers offense will be lost without its' top playmaker and the Packers will benefit. I'm not one for predictions, but a shutout could be in store for Cheesehead fans. Week 13: Defense/Special Teams Rankings: 1) Green Bay Packers - GRE - DF, vs. San Francisco 49ers, Sun 1:00 PM 2) San Diego Chargers -... read more

This week the Ravens are the top team as they take on the Carolina Panthers who will be starting Brian St. Pierre.....yes, Brian St. Pierre. Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at the Team Defense Ranks for Week 10. The top defense this week is the New York Giants, there front four continue to wreak havoc and their secondary is playing very well. The Cowboys are in for a long day Sunday afternoon. The cream is starting to rise to the top as old stalwarts like the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers are again amongst the top units in the league. Other units such as the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots are struggling to find consistency. Looking for a bye week filler? The Tampa Bay Bucs have a solid matchup against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers are depleted and Jimmy Clausen and Mike Goodson will start, meaning fantasy goodness for your squad. Week 8: Defense/Special Teams Rankings

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at team defenses for Week 8. The New England Patriots grab the top spot this week as they take on a Minnesota Vikings team that is being held hostage by the egomaniac that is Brett Favre. The Patriots have been playing solid defense as of late and the younger players are starting to show their worth. A sleeper defense or bye week filler? Look at the Tampa Bay Bucs who take on the Arizona Cardinals on the road. Tampa's defense should be licking their chops with Max Hall under center for the Cardinals, add to that the lack of running game by Arizona and the Bucs are a solid play. Looking deeper? Check out the St. Louis Rams who are at home against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have been atrocious on offense this season and if anyone can... read more

Week 7: Defense/Special Teams Rankings

Posted by in Defenses,Ranks on Oct 21st 2010 and last modified on Oct 22nd 2010. (Print This)

Fantasy Football Brother's ranks the team defenses for Week 7. The season is in full swing and offenses are ripe for the picking this week as many playmakers are out due to injuries (concussions). This could be a big week for team defenses and the top spot belongs to the Baltimore Ravens as they take on the Buffalo Bills in what should be a lopsided affair. Looking for a sleeper team defense? Look no further than the Seattle Seahawks who are still not on many people's fantasy radars. They should be and this week they take on the Cardinals who have been less than stellar offensively. Add in the fact that the 'Hawks are at home in the friendly confines of QWest Field and fantasy points should be aplenty. Still looking for another sleeper, let's go deep sleeper as we tab... read more
