This week the Brotherhood will be releasing our 1st LOOK at the 2010 dynasty rankings.  We know the season isn't technically over, but we also know how important it is to stay ahead of the competition.  There is nothing wrong with starting your prep work a little early. We're going to kick off this week with the quarterbacks.  This is how I would rank and value these players if I had to select my keepers today.  These rankings will change throughout the off-season.  Some teams are going to improve through the draft and free agency and others are going to lose key players.  Philip Rivers is a good example of a player who could find himself losing several key members of the Chargers offense.  The San Diego front office has a lot of decisions to make this off-season.  Do they resign Vincent Jackson, Malcom Floyd and LaDainian Tomlinson?  If they... read more

Last week we released our 1ST LOOK 2010 positional dynasty rankings.  We’ll start this week off by wrapping up our ranks with the tight ends.  Tight ends are usually an afterthought in fantasy football and especially in dynasty leagues.  It’s not that the position is less important than any of the others; it’s the fact that most fantasy leagues only require you to start one.  It’s simply all about supply and demand.  A larger emphasis is put on wide receivers, running backs and quarterbacks.  With a premium put on these positions it’s easy to see why tight ends lose significant value when it’s time to select your keepers.  There is no need to use one of your important keeper slots on a player who plays a position that more... read more

Dynasty Ranks are Here!

Dynasty leagues are a whole other ball game. You're running an organization for not just the "now", but for the future as well. Fantasy becomes more like reality as GMs are forced to consider outside of the current season. A mix of steady vets, mid-year "primers" and some diaper dandies make for the perfect blend for continued relevance. Buying on the cheap, selling before the crash and seeing production before it happens is all part of fantasy success. Key Wide-Out Questions Heading Into 2010: Who's #1? Although Larry Fitzgerald is two years younger than Andre Johnson, AJ still covets our top rank. Teams were able to keep Fitz's stats in check this season. He was still a top performer, but he did not live up to the unrealistic expectations placed upon him by fantasy nation in 09. Opposing defensive... read more

(Monday QBs,Friday WRs and TEs the 1/27) Today we take our 1ST LOOK at the running backs. There are a million things that will happen between now and the start of next  season. Fitzgerald plays his best ball in the post season.

The NFL has changed into a passing league. More and more teams are turning to shot-gun, 3 wide receiver set formations. Minnesota, New Orleans, Indy and Zona are the four best spread offenses in the league. They are super saturated with play-makers and more frequently than not, line up in 3 WR sets. Play-maker saturation leads to target dilution, but none of these squads will be playing an overly imposing defense. Divisional week should be an aerial show. The Green Bay vs. Arizona battle was one of the best playoff games the league has ever seen. Expect continued fireworks in the Divisional Match-Ups.      New Orleans vs. Arizona: We expect little defense in this one. New Orleans has done well all season in keeping opposing passer's stats down, but they will have much difficulty with Kurt Warner. If you blitz him, he'll make you pay. Anquan... read more

Ocho appears ready to go, but don't expect much with Revis in coverage.

Injuries can be the Achilles heal of fantasy success. Going into your draft without an updated IR is risky. The Brotherhood has you covered. There are some big names who are battling concerning injuries and there are those you don't have to worry about. We'll take a quick walk through the post-season infirmary informing you who you can draft with confidence, and those who warrant concern. 1)  Chad Ochocinco - CIN - WR Ocho's early week MRI indicated no structural damage. He's fully expected to participate in this weekend's rematch vs. the Jets. There has been speculation that Chad had no injury at all and was just faking it to cover up his being out-played by shut down corner Darelle Revis. He'll get a chance to redeem himself, but we would not expect much as Revis has been... read more

V.Davis vs the RAMS = KO win for San Fran

Week 17 is here, and for most leagues, the championship has already been decided.  We can rest easy (with Peyton Manning and the Colts..  Booo) as we wait for the playoff picture to unravel.  Our next fantasy mission:  Draft a team for our fantasy playoffs.  With that being said, week 17 is certainly the most difficult to rank.  Studs are being benched, rookies are being started to prove their worth, and the word "normal" is the farthest from the truth.  So, read these ranks with a grain of salt, and beware that if certian studs do play, it may be for a limited time. The NFC two-seed is up for grabs. Who will pull it down?

CLICK HERE FOR YOUR UPDATED WR RANKS WEEK 17 Here we are in Week 17. If your reading this, you're most likely in your fantasy championship. Unfortunately for you, your leagues goes right up until Week 17. Playing to the very end has it's disadvantages. True, it extends your enjoyment an other week, but playoff considerations, sitting players and injuries all begin to take it's toll on your line-up. There is nothing more frustrating than drafting a contender, performing well all year, just to have your studs sit come playoff time. Colt owners were the first to feel the wrath this week, as coach Caldwell decided it was time to protect his players rather than their undefeated hopes. It's a harsh reality, but the NFL does not revolve around fantasy football. At this point in... read more

Hmmm I Wonder How Many Fantasy Owners I Just Hurt By Pulling Peyton?

While most owners just finished their seasons with the hope that they won their leagues, there are still a  few that play a Week 17 Championship and today we take our 1ST Look at the injuries around the NFL. Fantasy Football is tough enough to figure out with injuries and running back by committees and all of the other aspects that make fantasy difficult as it is. Leagues that play in week 17 are ridiculously hard to win because of the amount of unknown playing situations that occur this time of year. Just ask any owner that owns any of the Colts skill players. (No I don't own any Colts)Their chances of winning were severely changed once Jim Caldwell made the decision to pull his starters early in the second half. I won't even... read more
