Foster Has Been Large And In Charge For The Texans
To all of our family and friends Happy Holidays to you and yours from all of us at the Brotherhood. We wish everyone all the best tomorrow in the biggest week(Don’t Worry Week 17 Owners The Brotherhood Rolls On) of the year for most of fantasy football. Thanks to all that have made the 2011 fantasy season a successful one. It was only a few short months ago, when we wondered if we would even have a football season and now we are here at the end. Go with what got you to the title game, always go with your gut and remember you have a secret weapon that no one even knows exists in your back-pocket. We are Fantasy Football Brothers!
INJURIES
Roy Helu-WAS Questionable
Helu is dealing with foot issues and is expected to play. How much he actually plays this week is really the bigger question. I think he will give up some touches to Evan Royster but should post around 20 total touches.
Chris Johnson-TEN Questionable
Johnson should be active tomorrow and see his usual average in the touches department. But owners should know that he isn’t close to being 100%, not that he has played like he has been completely healthy all year long anyway. With Javon Ringer still injured we expect Jamie Harper to occasionally spell Johnson
Beanie Wells-ARI Questionable
For what seems like the 16th straight week Wells makes an appearance on the injury list. Like mentioned last week Wells could most likely spend the rest of his career being listed as questionable. While there is no one fantasy worthy in Arizona that would be considered a viable alternative to Wells at least until next season. He will play and has had 15 carries in each of his last two games. The Bengals run defense has played well this year and they check in as the 9th best ranked run defense.
Marion Barber-CHI Doubtful
Barber is expected to be OUT tomorrow allowing Kahlil Bell (yeah you heard it here two weeks ago) to potentially steal a title for a few lucky owners. Bell should see plenty of touches tomorrow. He is a low end RB2/Flex play. The Bears will be facing a tough Packers run defense that has been more successful with their run defense due to making opposing teams play catch up rather than their run defense being a legit top run defending team. But the Bears woes at the QB position take some upside away from Bell tomorrow.
Felix Jones-DAL Questionable
This is the biggest question of the week. Jones could be active but as we get closer to game time, it appears there is a less likely hood of him playing. Jones is playing in the 4 o’clock games which makes things even harder for owners who are waiting to make a decision. Jones is a huge risk this week. HUGE. Regardless of Jones’ status, Sammy Morris should see a ton of carries. Morris could be a pretty big liability since he is an unknown at this point in the season with only 12 carries to his credit this season. If Jones is out Morris is a desperation play, but a calculated one.
