To all of our family and friends Happy Holidays to you and yours from all of us at the Brotherhood. We wish everyone all the best tomorrow in the biggest week(Don't Worry Week 17 Owners The Brotherhood Rolls On) of the year for most of fantasy football. Thanks to all that have made the 2011 fantasy season a successful one. It was only a few short months ago, when we wondered if we would even have a football season and now we are here at the end. Go with what got you to the title game, always go with your gut and remember you have a secret weapon that no one even knows exists in your back-pocket. We are Fantasy Football Brothers! INJURIES  Roy Helu-WAS Questionable Helu is dealing with foot issues and is expected to play. How much he actually plays this... read more

This is it! For most, Week 16 means Superbowl. For those who have made it - Congrats! For those falling short - Our condolences. We thank you all for your continued loyalty. We're honored to have you as part of the Brotherhood. Last week, we questioned Calvin Johnson's playoff stock after his recent slump. The stud wide-0ut stepped it up when it counted putting together one of the better performances of his career. He's the sure-fire No. 1 this week. Atlanta will have to keep pace with the Saints if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive. Julio Jones and Roddy White should be very active in a game that has all the makings for a shootout. Mike Wallace would traditionally torch the Rams, but with Big Ben's accuracy and power being hampered by an ankle injury - all bets are off. His rank could drop by week's end. Jabar Gaffney continues to be... read more

Week 16 QB Ranks

Eli Manning's poor performance on Sunday probably cost more than a few owners a shot at playing for a fantasy title.  It's a tough pill to swallow considering how well he has played over the last month.  Two of his three interceptions came when the Redskins sent an all out blitz.  Pryor to this game Eli was doing  a great job of exposing opposing defenses in these exact situations.  Unfortunately for us, this is exactly what we've come to expect from Eli when we need him the most.  He lets us down.  This performance is the reason why I had Eli as a preseason bust.  We know he's a QB1.  We know he'll throw for 4,000 + yards and 25 + touchdowns.  And we know he will let us down. Rodgers almost pulled an Eli, but managed two second half... read more

Week 16 TE Ranks

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at the tight end position for Week 16. If you are reading this, congratulations, but your work is far from over. For most of us, we are in fantasy depression, our team was good enough, we made all the right moves and decisions, only to have our players disappoint. More than one owner in your league thought he had what it took and more than one owner is saying wait 'til next year as he tries to decide between Matt Kemp and Justin Verlander in his dynasty fantasy baseball league. But you are not there yet....you stayed away from the light and were rewarded one more weekend in the sun to achieve fantasy glory. Let's not disappoint our loved ones....let's bring home that trophy to put on the mantle for the Holidays...okay, maybe not in most households, but I'm sure... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's welcomes you to Week 16. In most leagues this is the final game of the season, winner takes all, second place means nothing besides the fact that you showed up. The specialty positions such as kicker and defenses has played an instrumental role in most fantasy owner's success. Those that have been riding the foot of such guys as David Akers and Mike Nugent know what I'm talking about, as well as owner's that started the 49ers defense every week. These players and units helped make up points when your skill set position players had an off day. Think Jermichael Finley's whole season here. Did your kicker or your defense make up those extra points....the safe bet is that if you are playing this weekend they probably did. So, pay close attention because... read more

RB Ranks Week 15

Posted by in Fantasy Advice on Dec 15th 2011 and last modified on Dec 17th 2011. (Print This)

There is plenty to talk about at the RB spot this week with injuries dominating the news. DeMarco Murray's breakout came as quickly as his season ended. Darren McFadden is still not ready to return to the field. Adrian Peterson is expected to suit up after missing a few games. Kevin Smith returns after missing a game with a high ankle sprain. RB Adrian Peterson-MIN  Questionable Peterson is expected to return this week barring a last minute set back. AP should handle the bulk of the carries unless the game becomes a blow out and then we might see him a much more limited fashion to keep him healthy.  Toby Gerhart will be relegated to back up duties once again. RB Mark Ingram-NO OUT    With Ingram out again, it will be another RB du jour game. Second year back... read more
