Fantasy Football Brother's would like to wish all our reader's a Happy Thanksgiving. There is a great slate of games on Thursday, but the headliner will be the Packers vs. the Lions, but the game that could be the best might be the 49ers vs. the Ravens. The Brothers Harbaugh will battle it out in the night game. Here are the Kicker Ranks for Week 12: 1) Mason Crosby - GRE - KI, at Detroit Lions, Thu 12:30 AM 2) Dan Bailey - DAL - KI, vs. Miami Dolphins, Thu 4:15 PM 3) John Kasay - NOR - KI, vs. New York Giants, Mon 8:30 PM 4) Matt Bryant - ATL - KI, vs. Minnesota Vikings, Sun 1:00 PM 5) David Akers - SFO - KI, at Baltimore Ravens, Thu 8:20 PM 6) Nick Novak - SDC - KI, vs. Denver Broncos, Sun 4:15 PM 7) Stephen Gostkowski - NEP - KI, at Philadelphia Eagles, Sun 4:15 PM 8) Billy... read more

The Attack Of The Running Back The RB position is one of the most important positions in fantasy football. Yes part of that statement is hyperbole but there is some truth to it and no I am not biased because I write on the RBs. (Well maybe a little biased) The RB position was once the most important position in fantasy. The position has lost a lot of it's luster after the 2007 season. What happened in 2008? That was the last season when LaDainian Tomlinson was still alive or at least his career was. (I refuse to acknowledge the last 4 seasons of LDTs' career, they're insulting to his legacy) When LDT was destroying the NFL he was also destroying fantasy owners and their lives. He was always good... read more

THE MAIN EVENT The Carolina/Detroit game will be a sight to see. Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith are two dominating, yet completely different receivers. Both players had sub-par outings last week. Megatron has passed initial concussion screening and is expected to go. Carolina has no one capable of covering him. Detroit will be unable to contain the explosiveness of Smith. Look for Cam Newton to get back on track. As the NFL transitions more and more into a pass-first league, the number of statistically relevant WRs is increasing. WRs who play opposite known play-makers often benefit from drawing inferior pass-defenders in coverage. Some of the "Best Supporting Wide-Out" nominees include: Mario Manningham, Jordy Nelson, and Antonio Brown. Manningham appeared to have fallen behind 2cnd year impressor Victor Cruz, only to find pay-dirt in three consecutive weeks. The Giant's talented trio will face-off... read more

Fantasy owners have to be getting tired of Philip Rivers inconsistent play. I can honestly say I don't blame them. However, I still have confidence in him, and believe he still has the ability to produce QB1 numbers. This will be an important test against a solid Bears defense. The Chargers need to win if they want keep pace in the AFC West. If they lose owners might need to search elsewhere for consistent fantasy production, and that's not a good thing heading into the playoffs. Michael Vick has been ruled out for Sunday. Vince Young will start in his place and makes an okay option if your in a bind. We can expect the Eagles to run a ton against a week Giants front seven. I expect Tony Romo to put up decent numbers against a solid Redskins secondary. This... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's offers up our final ranks for Week 11 Tight Ends. Rob Gronkowski of the Patriots remains in the top slot as he should have a field day against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football. There was a great deal of movement at the tail end of the rankings as there were some injuries that shuffled guys up and down the ranks. The most serious injury being Jeremy Shockey of the Panthers who is doubtful with a rib injury. The teams on byes this week are the Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Houston Texans. Please adjust your roster accordingly. Here are the Week 11 Tight End Ranks: 1) Rob Gronkowski - NEP - TE, vs. Kansas City Chiefs, Mon 8:30 PM 2) Jason Witten - DAL - TE, at Washington Redskins, Sun 1:00 PM 3) Aaron Hernandez - NEP - TE, vs. Kansas City Chiefs,... read more

The end of the week means our final ranks for the week. We have updated and moved players up and down the board according to all of the developments of the week. I won't dive deep into last night's football game. While the game had a great finish, it was ugly from a football perspective and was horrifying from a fantasy perspective. When the top three fantasy scorers from last nights game are in order: the Broncos defense, Tim Tebow and Joe McKnight. Yikes. Every few weeks we assess the state of the RB position and take a look forward to next season. Here is an early look at our top 12 2012 RB Ranks. Due to Darren McFadden's injury history, he just missed the cut. McFadden has now missed 3 games or more in each of his first four NFL seasons. He is quickly becoming big time risk big time reward. Even... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a final look at the Kickers and Defensive/Special Teams for Week 11. If you owned the Chicago Bears D/ST last week y0u were more than happy with the points they put up. If you were carrying two D/ST's and chose not to start the Bears, then you were probably kicking yourself. It's why you eliminate that situation and just carry one D/ST or K on your roster. Both positions are a crapshoot and again, it's why we preach you are losing value elsewhere on your roster when you are carrying more than one each. Here are the K Ranks for Week 11: 1) Dan Bailey - DAL - KI, at Washington Redskins, Sun 1:00 PM 2) Mason Crosby - GRE - KI, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sun 1:00 PM 3) Stephen Gostkowski - NEP - KI, vs. Kansas... read more

Week 10 was a difficult one for the quarterback position. Matt Schaub is likely done for the year. This is a major blow to fantasy owners and the Texans. Houston has been playing well and looking for their first ever post season birth. With Schaub going down, Matt Leinart will take over as the Texans starting quarterback after the teams week 11 bye. Leinart is a former first round pick (11th overall) who has never been able to play up to his potential. With Leinart under center we can expect the Texans to feature a healthy dose of Foster and Tate going forward. I expect the coaches to simplify the offense and get the south paw out of the pocket on play action fakes and bootlegs. He's an interesting prospect going forward in deeper leagues and leagues that start two quarterbacks. Michael Vick took a ton of... read more
