The post-lockout NFL Draft will start to reward the top players instead of having them fall down the board due to contractual concerns. It's true, Sam Bradford is officially the last bonus baby and I think it's a change for the better. That's why we have Patrick Peterson as our number one overall pick. He was the best player in college football last season. Peterson was a true game changer at LSU and he will immediately become one in the NFL. We've heard all the talk about cornerbacks not being drafted this high, but with the newly implemented rookie salary cap coming in, it takes the politics and tiering out of contracts.
