Moreno goes down again... could be a TKO!

Week 15 was full of surprises (just ask the Giants, and the Pats) but luckily, for most fantasy managers, it was without major injuries thusfar.  The exceptions were Knowshon Moreno, and Austin Collie who both could be out for the remainder of the season (and/or your fantasy season).  Collie will leave the biggest void, especially after his performances the last 2 games with which he started and was unable to finish.  Blair White will benefit the most from his departure, and Tamme should also pick up some of the slack for Indy.  Moreno is just another slap in the face!  Hopefully your depth will carry you thru the finals at this point, because any relavant substitutes are long gone from the waiver wire at this point!

LaRod Stephens-Howling-RB-ARI:  LaRod injured his hamstring in his game on Sunday, which is the same injury that has been bothering him for some time.   He finished the day with 1 carry for 6yds, and 1 reception for 2yds.  Not exactly fantasy relevant!

Knowshon Moreno-RB-DEN:  Knowshon injured his side (ribs) during his game against Oakland.  He was unable to return to action, and finished the day with 4 carries for 5yds and 1 reception for 1yd.  This was a huge blow to fantasy owners who relied on Moreno to help in their playoff run.  He is questionable for next week, but we’re guessing that if you have him on your fantasy team that he will be riding the pine until next season.  He continues to be a disappointment!

Austin Collie-WR-IND:  Collie was having a monster game with 8 catches for 87yds and 2TDs before halftime, when he was clocked once again going across the middle.  Once again the result was a concussion, and he was unable to return.  Were thinking that this latest head injury may mean the end to Collie’s 2010 season!  He has missed several games already this year due to concussions, and his track record isn’t good for head injuries.  Although he is a must start when healthy, we would be lying if we told you that he would have an impact on your last few fantasy games.
