As the BYE Week scramble continues, we take a closer look at a few Tight End fliers that may still be available on the waiver wire.  John Carlson, Greg Olsen, etc. could add some value this week to your lineup if you have Witten or Shaincoe sitting it out.  The top 10 has also been shuffled up a bit due to some Week 4 matchups and some underperforming players.  Read up and enjoy! 1) Antonio Gates - SDC - TE, vs. Arizona Cardinals, Sun 4:15 PM Gates will remain the go to guy in San Diego this week. Week 4 is upon us.  Week 4 starts the beginning of the dreaded bye weeks.  This week teams will be without Tony Romo, Brett Favre, Josh Freeman and Matt Cassel.  Luckily for most owners, Romo is the only quarterback worthy of starting who is off this week.  For Favre, Freeman and Cassel, the bye couldn't come at a better time.  All three quarterbacks could benefit from the extra work and practice. I will continue to rank Peyton Manning first.  He is playing the position at the highest of levels, and we are fortnate to have the opportunity to watch him on a weekly basis.  Vick has looked like the player we thought he could be when he came out of Virginia Tech.  At this point, I'm wondering if he'll ever come down to earth.  His ability to get the ball down the field with his arm strenght has been almost... read more

The first bye week is here. With Austin, Dez, Roy Will, Percy, Mike Williams and Dwayne Bowe sitting, fantasy squads find themselves thin attempting to fill out their starting roster. The Denver, New Orleans and Chicago receiving corps are as crowded as ever. Predicting production for these teams will continue to be difficult. Marshall took advantage of Darrelle Revis' absence and should have continued success this week vs. a young and inexperienced Patriots' secondary. DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are getting along quite well with their new quarterback. Andre Johnson's ankle injury is of concern. They're calling it a high ankle sprain, but he thinks he can still play. Wayne and Collie should continue to pile up stats vs. a very poor Jags Defense. Malcom Floyd appears to be the real deal. The 'Hood takes a quick look at the Defense/Special Teams Rankings for Week 4 of the NFL Season. Remember it's the start of the bye weeks in the NFL, so if you own the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers it's time to find a replacement. A sleeper defense I like in Week 4 is the Seattle Seahawks who are on the road against the St. Louis Rams.
