As the BYE Week scramble continues, we take a closer look at a few Tight End fliers that may still be available on the waiver wire.  John Carlson, Greg Olsen, etc. could add some value this week to your lineup if you have Witten or Shaincoe sitting it out.  The top 10 has also been shuffled up a bit due to some Week 4 matchups and some underperforming players.  Read up and enjoy! 1) Antonio Gates - SDC - TE, vs. Arizona Cardinals, Sun 4:15 PM Gates will remain the go to guy in San Diego this week. Expect the usual 6 cathes for 88yds and 1TD. 2) Jermichael Finley - GRE - TE, vs. Detroit Lions, Sun 1:00 PM Finley has a good matchup this week, and he is still looking for his first TD of the... read more

Fantasy Football Brother's takes a look at the kicker postion heading into Week 4. Garrett Hartley seems to be on the outs in New Orleans, as the team has made a shift back to the grisly old vet John Carney. Remember this is also the start of the bye weeks, so be sure to make a move if you own David Buehler, Ryan Succop, Ryan Longwell, or Connor Barth. Let's take a look at the Week 4 Kicker Rankings: 1) Mason Crosby - GRE - KI, vs. Detroit Lions, Sun 1:00 PM 2) Neil Rackers - HOU - KI, at Oakland Raiders, Sun 4:05 PM 3) Rob Bironas - TEN - KI, vs. Denver Broncos, Sun 1:00 PM 4) Matt Bryant - ATL - KI, vs. San Francisco 49ers, Sun 1:00 PM 5) Nate Kaeding - SDC - KI, vs. Arizona Cardinals, Sun 4:15 PM 6) Adam Vinatieri - IND - KI, at Jacksonville Jaguars, Sun 4:05... read more

Every Tuesday we post our 1St Look Waivers. Our goal is to help you identify players who could/should be available on your league waiver wire. We know that every league is different and that some of these guys will have zero impact in your league. This is why we recommend signing up for our season pass. Playing Fantasy Football and life can be made a lot easier when you have experts in your corner to bounce ideas off of. We put in the time, so you don't have to. It's what we do and we love doing it.    I didn't include the Denver wideouts because it has become too difficult to project who will do what on any given Sunday. Head Coach Josh McDaniel's has said he was going to use a weekly rotation and he has stayed true to his word. It has become incredibly... read more

1ST Look: Week 4 QB Ranks

Posted by in 1st Look,Quarterbacks,Rank on Sep 28th 2010 and last modified on Sep 29th 2010. (Print This)

Week 4 is upon us.  Week 4 starts the beginning of the dreaded bye weeks.  This week teams will be without Tony Romo, Brett Favre, Josh Freeman and Matt Cassel.  Luckily for most owners, Romo is the only quarterback worthy of starting who is off this week.  For Favre, Freeman and Cassel, the bye couldn't come at a better time.  All three quarterbacks could benefit from the extra work and practice. I will continue to rank Peyton Manning first.  He is playing the position at the highest of levels, and we are fortnate to have the opportunity to watch him on a weekly basis.  Vick has looked like the player we thought he could be when he came out of Virginia Tech.  At this point, I'm wondering if he'll ever come down to earth.  His ability to get the ball down the field with his arm strenght has been almost... read more

1ST Look: Week 4 TE Ranks

Posted by in 1st Look,Rank on Sep 28th 2010 and last modified on Sep 29th 2010. (Print This)

Last week I mentioned Dustin Keller and "Double AA" Aaron Hernandez as nice plays for Week 3.  Hopefully you were listening!  Week 4 will be interesting as the BYE weeks begin, and depth will mean the difference between a "W" and an "L".  Look for the Final Ranks posted on Friday for the full analysis on key pickups this week, but use these ranks for early waiver wire moves.  (Greg Olsen and John Carlson may be just what the doctor ordered!) Remember if you have Jason Witten, Tony Moeaki, Visanthe Shiancoe, or Kellen Winslow it's time to go waiver wire shopping. Here is the Brotherhood's 1ST LOOK WEEK 4 TE RANKS: 1) Antonio Gates - SDC - TE, vs. Arizona Cardinals, Sun 4:15 PM Gates continues to dominate the Chargers offense. 2) Jermichael Finley - GRE - TE, vs. Detroit Lions, Sun 1:00 PM Finley played well on MNF,... read more

1ST Look: Week 4 WR Ranks

Posted by in 1st Look,Rank on Sep 28th 2010 (Print This)

The first bye week is here. With Austin, Dez, Roy Will, Percy, Mike Williams and Dwayne Bowe sitting, fantasy squads find themselves thin attempting to fill out their starting roster. The Denver, New Orleans and Chicago receiving corps are as crowded as ever. Predicting production for these teams will continue to be difficult. Marshall took advantage of Darrelle Revis' absence and should have continued success this week vs. a young and inexperienced Patriots' secondary. DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are getting along quite well with their new quarterback. Andre Johnson's ankle injury is of concern. They're calling it a high ankle sprain, but he thinks he can still play. Wayne and Collie should continue to pile up stats vs. a very poor Jags Defense. Malcom Floyd appears to be the real deal. Colston and Crabtree continue to disappoint. Batch-to-Wallace was something... read more

Which by the way is another free pre-view of our paid content. To view all of our 1ST LOOK content click here. The Brotherhood has been hard at work building a new projection tool, where our readers can customize the projection tool to your specific league's scoring set up and to your roster. As cool as this sounds it's even better to play with. It has been an absolute nutty at the running back position so far this season. Injuries are really beginning to take a toll on fantasy squads. Even before we kicked off Sunday we were with... read more

The 'Hood takes a quick look at the Defense/Special Teams Rankings for Week 4 of the NFL Season. Remember it's the start of the bye weeks in the NFL, so if you own the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, or the Tampa Bay Buccaneers it's time to find a replacement. A sleeper defense I like in Week 4 is the Seattle Seahawks who are on the road against the St. Louis Rams. They have been playing solid defense as of late and with Leon Washington returning kicks it could be added points for fantasy owner's. Let's take a look at Team Defenses in Week 4: 1) Pittsburgh Steelers - PIT - DF, vs. Baltimore Ravens, Sun 1:00 PM 2) Green Bay Packers - GRE - DF, vs. Detroit Lions, Sun 1:00 PM 3) Philadelphia Eagles - PHI - DF, vs. Washington Redskins, Sun 4:15 PM 4) New York Jets - NYJ - DF, at... read more
