Fantasy Football Brothers takes a look at the Kickers heading into the NFL Playoffs. Many fantasy owners are new to Playoff Leagues, but it keeps the fantasy season going for those of you that missed out on a championship. The Kickers from the top two favorites (Colts and Saints) going into the NFL Playoffs come with caution, notably the Colts with Adam Vinatieri and Matt Stover. Is Vinatieri healthy enough to kick and has he been away too long? Will the Colts switch back to Stover? Another question rests with the Saints as Garrett Hartley got a case of the shanks to end the season. Would they switch back to John Carney at some point in the Playoffs? POST-SEASON FANTASY FORECAST: PROJECTIONS/RANKS/DRAFT STRATEGY

Poised for the Playoffs: Ryan Grant could be the key to post-season fantasy success.

The key to post-season fantasy success is the ability to properly forecast which teams will go on, and which will be one and done. You need to approach the NFL fantasy playoffs just like you would approach the NCAA Final Four Tournament. Prior to making player evaluations, you need to philosophize and fill out a bracket. After doing so, only then can you properly rank your players. You need to get a solid balance of one/two seeds, and first week players in order to make it to the next round. Sure Indy, New Orleans, Minny and San Diego are all stacked with talent, but you will not have access to them until week 2. You'll win your league if you are able to foresee the surprise team and then draft players from that squad. GMs who drafted Arizona Cardinals last year... read more

Wild Card Spotlight: Revis vs. Ocho

Revis has been a Fantasy Team Killing Shut Down Corner in 09

Heading into this years draft, the 09 fantasy season was deemed "The Year of the Wide Receiver". Drafts trends had wide-outs going early and often with the mentality that the top notch pass-catchers were safer plays than questionable runners. Stud wide receivers are almost a weekly shoe-in for fantasy production. Notice I said "almost". There is one thing.... I mean one person to be weary of: Darrelle Revis. Andre Johnson: Week 1 vs. Revis: 4 catches for 45 yards. Randy Moss:   Week 2 vs. Revis: 4 catches for 24 yards.                                  Week 11 vs. Revis: 5 catches, 31 yards, 1 TD Marques Colston: Week 4 vs. Revis: 2 catches for 33 yards. Terrell Owens: Week 6 vs. Revis: 3 catches for 13 yards.                                      Week 13 vs. Revis: 3 catches for 31 yards. Mike Sims Walker: Week 10 vs. Revis: 2 catches 23... read more

Ocho appears ready to go, but don't expect much with Revis in coverage.

Injuries can be the Achilles heal of fantasy success. Going into your draft without an updated IR is risky. The Brotherhood has you covered. There are some big names who are battling concerning injuries and there are those you don't have to worry about. We'll take a quick walk through the post-season infirmary informing you who you can draft with confidence, and those who warrant concern. 1)  Chad Ochocinco - CIN - WR Ocho's early week MRI indicated no structural damage. He's fully expected to participate in this weekend's rematch vs. the Jets. There has been speculation that Chad had no injury at all and was just faking it to cover up his being out-played by shut down corner Darelle Revis. He'll get a chance to redeem himself, but we would not expect much as Revis has been... read more
