Fantasy Football Brothers has shifted gears to focus on the NFL Playoffs. Many fantasy owners are somewhat new to the Playoff Leagues, but it is something that is challenging and keeps the fantasy season going for those of you that missed out on a championship. As my colleague stated in an earlier post, “It let’s me watch an NFL game knowing I have that player in my starting lineup.” These ranking are in depth and they provide for the leagues that do select backups at their respected positions.Â
Fantasy Football Brothers takes a look at the Running Back rankings for 2009 Playoff Leagues and these rankings are done by a last man standing type rules. This of course means the highest ranked players we believe will go the furthest in the NFL Playoffs. If you own Pierre Thomas and the Saints are knocked out, you only have one other running back and your flex position (RB/WR) to net you points. While we don’t think this will be the case, you never know, anything can happen in the post-season. Playoff Leagues draft only one player at a position and no moves are allowed, again your player gets knocked out and he is done, that is where the last man standing comes in. Leagues usually run with the basic 1-QB<—>2-RB<—>2-WR<—>1-RB/WR<—>1-TE<—>1-K<—>1-D/ST type roster.
