Encore! Encore!
Week 6 of the NFL saw a huge surge in points for fantasy teams as eight quarterbacks went over 300 yards and that includes Ben Roethlisberger who passed for 417 yards. If your team ran into any of the Patriots it was not a good scene as Tom Brady threw for six touchdowns and Randy Moss was on the receiving end of three of those. Needless to say the points came in bunches and many leagues saw high scores across the board.
Now on to week 7 and the scoring should continue as teams start to fire on all cylinders offensively. There are some explosive offenses in the NFL this year, with the likes of the New Orleans Saints (38.4 ppg.), Minnesota Vikings (31.5 ppg.), New York Giants (29.7 ppg.), Baltimore Ravens (28.2 ppg.), Indianapolis Colts (27.4 ppg.), New England Patriots (27.2 ppg.), Philadelphia Eagles (27.2 ppg.), and Green Bay Packers (26.0 ppg.) are all averaging over 25 points per game.
Week 7 is the bye week for the Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, and the Tennessee Titans. It might be time to get creative with your lineup if you have multiple players on these teams as this marks the bye weeks where there are six teams on byes. This will continue through week 9 and this is the stretch that can truly make or break your team for your fantasy playoffs.
I am going to break the projections down this week by points instead of statistics. Standard League points for players are in maroon, where Points Per Reception (PPR) are in orange and are listed on running backs, wide receivers and tight ends. In this case PPR was .5 per reception.

This was helpful, but I liked it when you wrote out each player’s stats rather than just their totals.
Sean, thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated as we try to give our readers what they want. I will be keeping track of how many people liked the stats and so far the stats are making a return next week. Thanks again.
I also like the stats better.
