Week one finally arrives, and we at FantasyFootballBrothers are chomping at the bit. Let’s get it started already.

1) Adrian Peterson – MIN – RB
@ Cleveland I just hope the game stays close so A.P. can rack up some yardage before the Vikes offense has to throttles down.

2) Matt Forte – CHI – RB
@ Green Bay It’s time to see if the Bears can actually take some pressure off the run game with good QB play and keep the 8 man fronts to a minimum.

3) Maurice Jones-Drew – JAC – RB
@ Ind. MJD’s solo career begins with a tough road game. Expect MJD to see a lot of touches and don’t be surprised when he has more receiving yards than rushing yards.

4) Steven Jackson – STL – RB
@ Seattle The St.Louis offense will run through Jackson. Here is to hoping the Rams are greatly improved with a new coach, and a healthy offensive line.

5) Michael Turner – ATL – RB
@ Miami It’s time to put the curse of 370 to bed, there was no RB story more regurgitated than that one during the off-season.

6) Frank Gore – SFO – RB
@ Arizona The new offensive philosophy of run, run, run begins in the Desert. The Niners would be wise to do this against the Cards to keep that offense off the field.

7) LaDainian Tomlinson – SDC – RB
@ Oakland LDT begins his campaign to show the world he is still alive. No better place to start than against Oakland.

8) DeAngelo Williams – CAR – RB
Vs. Philly DeAngelo looks to prove all naysayers(ok me) wrong that last year was in fact not a fluke.

9) Chris Johnson – TEN – RB
@ Pittsburgh Not exactly the match up I’d want to start my season with. Johnson’s fast but is he fast enough?

10) Brandon Jacobs – NYG – RB
Vs. Washington It will be interesting to see how many touches Jacobs gets now that he is the true Number one back.

11) Steve Slaton – HOU – RB
Vs. N.Y. Jets Slaton opens up against a Jets Def. that could give the Texans fits

12) Brian Westbrook – PHI – RB
@ Carolina Tough week one match up. Westbrook will allegedly have his touches monitored, he hasn’t played all pre-season, but for some reason that sounds like a winning combination to me.

13) Ray Rice – BAL – RB
Vs. K.C.  Rice starts the season as the lead man in Baltimore against a lousy Defense. Sounds like a great start to me.

14) Kevin Smith – DET – RB
@ New Orleans  I don’t think this is the game that the Lions break the streak, but expect Smith to get a heavy load of touches

15) Ronnie Brown – MIA – RB
Vs. Atlanta  Brown wants to be considered an elite NFL back. No better time than to start now.

16) Thomas Jones – NYJ – RB
@ Houston  This game really interest me. I can’t wait to see who carries the ball when, because for what ever reason everyone has Jones being pushed out as the lead guy. We will see.

17) Clinton Portis – WAS – RB
@ N.Y. Giants  Portis looks to show the world he still has plenty of gas left in the tank against a tough Giants Def.

18) Ryan Grant – GRE – RB
Vs. Chicago  Grant looks to build on a solid end of 2008 when Grant was putting up Top 10 RB numbers, lets hope Rodgers doesn’t steal rushing TD’s from him in 09.

19) Marion Barber – DAL – RB
@ Tampa Bay  It’s time to see what exactly Barber’s role is. We all know he is the goal line guy, but how many touches will Felix really steal?

20) Darren McFadden – OAK – RB
Vs. San Diego  McFadden will probably start this game with Fargas unable to practice the last few weeks. The Raiders need him to be effective to take pressure off of the passing game.

21) Joseph Addai – IND – RB
@ Jacksonville  Addai’s rank has plummeted in the span of one year. he has the talent to be a top 5 guy, but can he stay healthy and for how long? How many touches does he lose to Brown? We’ll see on Sunday.

22) Willie Parker – PIT – RB
Vs. Tennessee  Parker has been given the lead role in Pittsburgh, but a very lousy match up facing the Titans on Thursday.

23) Pierre Thomas – NOR – RB
Vs Lions  I’d have Thomas way higher if he wasn’t dinged up. His status is up in the air and will be a game time decision. Stay tuned.

24) Larry Johnson – KAN – RB
@ Baltimore  I have been loving L.J. all pre-season but this isn’t the team you want to face with a new offense and a new QB. Good luck L.J.

25) Cedric Benson – CIN – RB
Vs. Denver  Benson could blow up against this Denver defense. Is anyone else going to miss Hardknocks? I think I’d watch a CFL version if they had it.

26) Julius Jones – SEA – RB
@ St. Louis   Great match up for Jones to open the season. If he runs wild how do you not trade him and sell him at his highest value?

27) Jamal Lewis – CLE – RB
@ Minnesota   Has the rumor of his decline been greatly exaggerated? Probably the wrong defense to find out against.

28) Mike Bell – NOR – RB
@ Detroit   His value skyrockets if Thomas is out, and that is only if.

29) Jonathan Stewart – CAR – RB
Vs. Philly   Was he just resting all pre-season? I can’t believe he is not on the injury report he could end up being the steal of many drafts held in the last two weeks.

30) LenDale White – TEN – RB
@ Pittsburgh   White kicks off the season against an opponent that can stop the run, LenDale might have dropped some weight but he is not going to be breaking anything big against Pitt on Thursday. Look for him to just pound the ball to soften up the defense

31) Derrick Ward – TAM – RB
Vs. Dallas    Can someone tell me the method to the Bucs madness please? I really don’t understand.

32) Reggie Bush – NOR – RB
@ Lions   Bush will have even greater value if Thomas is out. This is a situation that bares close watching, he’s a great start in flex or P.P.R. leagues if Thomas is indeed out.

33) Fred Jackson – BUF – RB
@ New England   Jackson is the lead man with Marshawn Lynch suspended. This isn’t exactly the best game to show Buffalo what he can do. Expect the Bills to be playing from behind against an uppity Patriot team.

34) Ahmad Bradshaw – NYG – RB
Vs. Washington   Bradshaw is now the number two guy, I can’t wait to see what he can do with more touches

35) Chris Wells – ARI – RB
Vs. San Francisco   Wells begins his one-man campaign to steal the starting job from Hightower. I say stay healthy young man.

36) Leon Washington – NYJ – RB
@ Houston   Washington is looking for a new contract. Go earn it.

37) Felix Jones – DAL – RB
@ Tampa Bay   Jones will get touches in Dallas, let’s see how many

38) Knowshon Moreno – DEN – RB
@ Cincinnati   Moreno is working his back from a knee injury. He might not even play, let alone start. He is not start worthy this weekend if it can be helped.

39) Tim Hightower – ARI – RB
Vs. San Francisco   Hightower needs to match Wells’ play to keep the starting role

40) LeSean McCoy – PHI – RB
@ Carolina    McCoy could get a lot of playing time if the rumors are true that Westbrook’s touches are going to be monitored.

41) Glen Coffee – SFO – RB
@ Arizona   Coffee was one of the surprises of the pre-season. Will his outstanding play carry over to the real season?

42) Earnest Graham – TAM – RB
Vs. Dallas   I like his hands in P.P.R. formats but I wouldn’t touch any of these guys right now.

43) Cadillac Williams – TAM – RB
Vs. Dallas   Seriously Cadillac is starting? Has Tampa taken over for the Broncos as the team that makes Fantasy owners nuts. I hate Running Back roulette.

44) James Davis – CLE – RB
Vs. Minnesota    Davis has been every ones super sleeper. Is this his coming out party? Probably next week.

45) Darren Sproles – SDC – RB
@ Oakland   Sproles might get a lot of action if the Chargers blow out the Raiders.

46) Fred Taylor – NEP – RB
Vs. Bills   Taylor is the starter, the question is and then what?

47) Laurence Maroney – NEP – RB
Vs. Bills   The Pats seem to like him, I don’t he dances in the hole way too much.

48) Donald Brown – IND – RB
Vs. Jacksonville   We know he will get carries, but what percentage still remains to be seen.

49) Jamaal Charles – KAN – RB
@ Baltimore    Charles might be on the field a lot if the Chiefs are playing catch up, and have to pass.

50) Ricky Williams – MIA – RB
@ Atlanta   The Dolphins like to run the ball, but if they run the wildcat Williams could get some extra action.

51) Edgerrin James – SEA – RB
Vs. St. Louis   It’s time to see what exactly James’ role in this offense is.

52) Correll Buckhalter – DEN – RB
@ Cincinnati    Buckhalter will probably start even if Moreno is not ready, but no one on this team is start worthy.

53) Willis McGahee – BAL – RB
Vs. K.C.   McGahee might get more carries than expected if the Ravens are up big.

54) Chester Taylor – MIN – RB
@ Cleveland   Wildcat anyone? Could get action if the Vikes go up big early.

55) Bernard Scott – CIN – RB
Vs. Denver    Soft run defense. Scott will get to show the Broncos what all of the pre-season hype was about.

56) Michael Bush – OAK – RB
Vs. San Diego  Who is going to start in Oakland? My guess is McFadden, with Bush spelling him, but I’ve been wrong before.

57) Justin Fargas – OAK – RB
Vs. Fargas  has been banged up for the last few weeks. But with those kooky Raiders, he might start, he might not play. I love Al Davis.

58) Rashard Mendenhall – PIT – RB
Vs. Tennessee   I’m getting closer, and closer to putting the F.F.B. official bust stamp on this guy. Prove me wrong Big Boy.

59) DeShawn Wynn – GRE – RB
Vs. Chicago   I like him better than Brandon Jackson for now.

60) LaMont Jordan – DEN – RB
@ Cincinnati    Jordan at least has a role as the 3rd down back, deservedly so with his great hands.
