Marion Barber lives up to his nickname - The Barbarian. He runs with no regard for the safety of himself or others. Such a rugged style of running leaves him open to injury. After coming up lame on a sure fire touchdown in week 2, MBIII did all in his power to show the coaching staff that he'd be ready for Monday night. Despite Barber's efforts, the coaching staff forced him to sit. Barber was not seen on the sidelines leading to speculations of frustration with the coaching staff for not granting his wish to play. Felix Jones opened the game with a bang, but speed kills. The Carolina defense got torched by the former Razorback, but a knee injury brought his production to a halt. Enter Tashard Choice. Choice showed versatility and poise: Monday Night vs. Panthers: 18... read more

Frank Gore was carted off the field on Sunday with a high ankle sprain. That type of injury is never good, all early indications are he is out for at least 3 weeks, but probably closer to 6-8 Weeks. Now Glen Coffee gets to be the first legit back up to get some serious playing time. San Francisco has become a run first team. They have played very well to date and are trying to control the clock by pounding the rock, with some passes sprinkled in to keep opposing defenses honest. A side note right here. QB Shaun Hill is looking more and more comfortable throwing the ball, the receivers and tight end are finding holes all over the opposing defense's coverage because of the success in the run game. Coffee was selected in the 3rd Round out of Alabama. Coffee was drafted to back up Frank Gore and shore... read more

Fantasy Football Brothers will take a tour around the NFL to see who is outperforming who and those players whose job's are in jeopardy. We call this segment "Whose got next...." and you would be wise as a fantasy owner to put these players on your watch list or pick them up right away. Follow Us On Twitter Become a Fan on Facebook Baltimore Ravens WR-Kelley Washington-Slowly moving ahead of Mark Clayton as the second wideout in Baltimore, Washington has developed a nice rapport with QB Joe Flacco and is finally in a system to maximize his potential. Buffalo Bills WR-Josh Reed-He is outperforming both WR's Lee Evans and Terrell Owens and the reason is simple: QB Trent Edwards likes to dink and dunk with safe passes and that means Reed on short, safe routes. Cincinnati Bengals WR-Andre Caldwell-He is outperforming both WR's Laveranues Coles and Chris Henry and is a solid number three in fantasy football. He... read more

With another Sunday behind us several more key players managed to find themselves on the injury report. This is a quick look at yesterday's injuries and what we can expect going forward. 1) Frank Gore - SFO - RB Gore left Sunday's game after only one carry. Early reports are that he suffered a strained ankle ligament. The injury is serious enough to keep Gore out for a couple of weeks. Glenn Coffee will start in Gore's place and should be owned in all leagues. 2) Brian Westbrook - PHI - RB Westbrook wasn't active against the Chiefs on Sunday. After aggravating his surgically repaired ankle Westbrook sat out practice all week and was considered questionable. This is nothing new to Westbrook owners. The Eagle's are on there bye this week so Westbrook has extra time to rest his swollen ankle. Word out of Philly is that even when he is healthy he will split... read more

It's Monday again and here at Fantasy Football Brothers we will take a look at the players that helped or hurt your fantasy team. There are some notable players who layed eggs in Week 3 and there are some players who stepped up and separated themselves from the competition. As always there were frustrating inactives and injuries to major fantasy players. Let's take a look back at the week that was Week 3. Â HITS RB-Pierre Thomas-Thomas showed he was healthy in a big way and this was a statement game for the Saint's as they told teams they can run the ball and they can run it well. Thomas had 14 carries for 126 yards and 2 TD's means this team is running on all cylinders. QB-Jason Campbell-He put up big yardage numbers against a mediocre defense and 2 TD's. He is better than alot of QB's on fantasy rosters right now. WR-Santana Moss-Put... read more
