F.F.B. is committed to making sure you get the proper return on your fantasy investments.

Buy Low $- Some major names on this list. Last year everyone of these guys were potential first rounders. All have potential to bounce their way back.

Tom Brady – NEP – QB
If Tom Brady is at full strength, Bill Belichick and the Patriots will make an absolute mockery out of the league in 09. No player in the game has a higher ceiling. Brady should be ranked #1 on draft boards, but may fall to three behind Brees and Peyton. Jaded fantasy GM’s will stutter-step to select Brady after a lost season in 08. Take full advantage of their fear and Draft Away!

Randy Moss – NEP – WR
Moss put together the greatest season the position has ever seen in 07. After weathering the storm with Matt Cassel, Moss will be re-united with Tom Brady in 09. He’ll attempt to break his record setting 23 TD season. Will that happen? – No!, But 15+ touchdowns is in reach. Fitz and AJ may catch more balls and have more yardage, but Moss should lead the league in scores. Moss is being selected 3rd or 4th at the position, but could very well finish first in fantasy points.

LaDainian Tomlinson – SDC – RB
Despite the motley crew that wants a refund for LDT’s 08 performance – he still finished in the top five in scoring for fantasy running backs. So many people were burnt the last two seasons that Tomlinson could fall and be a late round steal. Everyone is jumping ship, but the fallen king has my allegiance for one more season.

Marshawn Lynch – BUF – RB
Suspension rumors have Lynch’s stock falling. Fred Jackson is looking for more playing time, but many over-estimate the impact of an early season suspension. Many will chose to pass on Lynch (those that passed on Brandon Marshall and Steve Smith in 08, regretted it by seasons end). He has fallen out of favor as a RB1, but should produce as a decent RB2 option at a relatively cheap price.

Joseph Addai – IND – RB
Speaking of stock drops – Addai is like ENRON Addai played better when in a committee. Current ADP suggests that he can be had in the late 4th -early 5th round. He could prove to be a good buy-low candidate. The Colts should open up in a lopsided time-share in Addai’s favor. Although Brown could push for even touches by seasons end, Addai should be able to hold on to a respectable amount of carries to produce decent fantasy stats in 09. Receiving skills and inside running ability are comparable, so neither back will win exclusive goal-line or 3rd down duties.

Sell High $- Although these players will still produce, a repeat of last seasons performance is unlikely.

DeAngelo Williams – CAR – RB
Jonathan Stewart’s presence will prohibit Williams from reaching his pinnacle potential. 08 was an amazing year, and “amazing” is hard to duplicate. Williams will not repeat last years performance. He is worth a first round pick, but 20 TD’s this season is unrealistic. Williams’ stock is as high as it will ever be. He could be a good sell-high candidate. His 08 totals will cause some stock inflation and he will most likely be selected before he should.

Tony Gonzalez – ATL – TE
Unreal seasons lead to unreal expectations. Gonzo’s 08 stats were ridiculous. 96 receptions, 1058 receiving yards, and 10 TD’s will be hard to duplicate – especially in a new offense. Gonzo is still atop my TE ranks, but his stock will never be as high.

LeRon McClain – BAL – RB
McClain should retain his goal-line work, but his time as a true half-back appears to be over. Look for him to transition back to more of a full-back role in Baltimore.

Jay Cutler – CHI – QB
You can’t carry your personal feelings into draft day, for you are most likely to pass on great talent due to your own personal beliefs about a player. But I feel that Cutler is the exception. I don’t like the guy in real life, and I don’t think he’ll have great success fantasy wise in 09. Privacy in professional sports is no longer existent. The locker room used to be a place of intimacy, but secrets are no longer kept. Although I do not agree with the way Coach McDaniels conducted himself since becoming the Broncos coach, Cutler’s cry-baby performance made me lose all respect. He opened up on fire in 08 but then quickly cooled as the season progressed. He has an ego that needs to be brought down to earth. Chicago is a significant down-grade from Denver. Cutler will improve a struggling Bears offense, but he will not be leading my fantasy team come September.

Liabilities - Don’t do it!

Roy E. Williams – DAL – WR
No player is playing under as much pressure as Roy Will. For some reason he has been over-valued in both Fantasy and Reality. I’m not a believer.

Jamal Lewis – CLE – RB
Steady vet on the decline. Jerome Harrison could finally make his push. James Davis is also in the wings.

Jeremy Shockey – NOR – TE
Has never lived up to his potential – and never will.

All Raiders Players Besides McFadden and Zach Miller: This changes if Garcia takes over, but JaMarcus Russell has “Bust” tattooed to his chest, and Al Davis is a disgrace to football. Oak-town is truly a “black-hole” of talent.

Insurance Policies - Be sure to back-up your most lucrative assets. Liability Insurance is a must!

Chester Taylor – MIN – RB
Remains the #1 hand-cuff in the game. Peterson has put on 10-plus lbs in the offseason and is in for a boat load of carries. With his running style, an injury is not far fetched.

LeSean McCoy – PHI – RB
Not if Westbrook gets injured – when he gets injured. Westbrook’s ankle surgery has McCoy gaining pre-season press. Shady will get touches regardless of Westbrook’s health. I expect the Eagles to get creative in how they use both players. Don’t be surprised to see them both on the field at the same time. McCoy offers a similar skill set and should be able to fit in well when Westbrook misses time. His handcuff stock is steadily rising. Westbrook owners need to arrest him before the competition does.

Rashard Mendenhall – PIT – RB
Fast Willie has slowed. Mendenhal should be motivated after a lost rookie campaign.

Jerious Norwood – ATL – RB
Reminds me of a low-end Chris Johnson. He’s never really got the shot to display his talents. Turner’s 08 domination will keep Norwood on the sidelines, but he has retained 3rd down duties, and Turners number of carries is a concern.

James Jones – GRE – WR
Jones after and off-season of health, Jones is ready to return to Green Bay and produce. He showed impressive flashes as a rook. If Driver begins to show any signs of his age, Jones should beat out Jordy Nelson as his successor.

Donald Brown – IND – RB
Addai may be a decent buy-low guy, but he better get back in gear for Brown will be pushing to play. The Colts will open with a time share in the veterans favor, but look for the rook to push for equal touches by seasons end. Addai and Brown have similar skill sets, but Brown has better home-run capability, and a higher ceiling.

Matt Leinart – ARI – QB
The #1 quarterback handcuff. Warner’s age leaves him as an injury liability. If that happens, Leinart will get his opportunity. He will not produce Warner-like passing numbers, but he has the talent around him to be a fantasy starter.

Ladell Betts: Portis has a lot of wear and tear on his tires. With struggles in the passing game, Washington will rely on him heavily again. Portis could see sometime in the shop.
