The low down on the Quarterbacks heading into the off-season
1. Kurt Warner-Arizona
Warner had a stellar comeback year he was the second highest scoring QB in standard formats. Warner is an Unrestricted Free Agent heading into this off-season, he is currently taking the off-season to contemplate his potential retirement.
2. Tom Brady- New England
Will Tom Brady return to pre-injury form, and put together another stellar season? Will he tie the knot and end his bachelor days ask Tiger if is its a good move?
3. Matt Cassell – New England
Where will Cassell end up? Ride the pine behind Brady? Would Tampa, Detriot, K.C., Jets, Minnesota, San Francisco,Seattle gamble their future away and trade a couple of high draft picks for a one year wonder?
4. Donovan F. McNabb- Philadelphia
Will Philadelphia try and continue to win with McNabb or trade him for draft picks and start the Kevin Kolb error?
5. Matt Hasselback- Seattle
The Boston College product is running out of time to return to stardom, and running out of capable wide receivers to throw to. Look for Seattle to explore moving Hasselback this offseason
6. Minnesota Quarterbacks
Will Minnesota make a blockbuster deal to land a top QB and move the Vikings to the top of the NFC North
7. San Francisco Quarterbacks
After the Alex Smith debacle does San Francisco look to the draft for the answer at QB or stay with fan favorite Shaun Hill
8. Brady Quinn- Cleveland
Is Brady Quinn the answer to resurrecting the passing attack in Cleveland?
9. Detroit Quarterbacks
Will the Lions draft Sanchez or Stafford? Or do they stick with the inneffective Culpepper, Orlovsky, Stanton, Kitna four headed monster? Though Scott Linehan reunites as Offensive Coordinator with Culpepper
10. Tyler Thigpen- K.C.
Will Thigpen be the answer in K.C.? Thigpen was a sleeper at fantasy QB down the stretch though his low completion rate is worrisome to the new K.C. front office
11. Brett Favre’s retirement – N.Y. Jets
With Favre calling it quits the Jets will need to decide if Kellen Clemens is the guy or if they bring in a Jeff Garcia free agent type. We could see them potentially drafting one of the young signal callers early in Aprils draft.
12. Carson Palmer- Cinncinati
Will Palmer return healthy? Will the never ending wide receiver drama with Ocho Cinco and Houshmanzadeh ever end? Is Cinncinati destined for offensive mediocrity again?
